I think this is a Trump move to tell them basically shit or get off the pot. We've had seven years of this political court room theater, constantly acting like there is this seriously look into criminal allegations. Allegations being the keyword, as it alllowe them to slander him constantly and their allies in the media to report on them like they are actual crimes he's committed. Remember they busted his lawyer on tax evasion or some dirty shit he did with a taxi company, and got him to plead guilty to a crime he couldn't been charged with to get off light on his real crimes.
Now, if they don't arrest him Tuesday, the whole thing looks like a shame. If they do they hand him a massive amount of political capital, making a pariah out of him.

If he is indicted, he'll be able to negotiate a voluntary surrender date, and would probably be brought directly before a judge after his arrest is processed, and then he'd be released.
The issue is that Trump is a massive retard. He is very likely to chimp out, not follow his lawyers' advice, and make everything way more difficult and retarded than it has to be.
