Why is this behavior on Reddit not considered trolling or spamming? If you actually stay on topic and give a reasonable opinion that's not part of the hivemind you will be downvoted, banned and your comment [removed] for "trolling", falsely accused of being an alt or whatever fake reason they make up to justify it. However, if you go off-topic, troll with constant unfunny autistic soy "jokes", spam puns, or personally insult someone because you disagree with them you will be upvoted and face no moderator action. I remember when moderation was used to deal with trolling, personal attacks, spamming, and other problems that will ruin a forum if you let it continue. Now moderation has become wrongthink removal instead of enforcing rules. This is why there is no actual serious or interesting conversation on Reddit compared to old-school forums. The sad thing is that the few remaining active forums around the internet are now very small communities infested with soys, troons, and other mentally-stunted Reddit types.
Now, you might accuse me of ass-kissing, but this site is literally the closest thing we have to 90's and 2000's style forums.
