This was huge during the summer of love, anyone voicing even slight hesitation at letting joggers run wild and destroy small businesses was met with "they have insurance right? So it doesn't matter, if they don't have insurance they sound like a stupid business owner to me!!" completely unironically, they have no concepts of coverage, deductibles, premium increases, or hell even just that having 50 joggers loot and destroy your store leaves you out of business for an extended time even if you were made whole on the damages and thefts somehow. It's utterly repulsive to see them talk about these things as they're so distanced from reality yet still so condescending about everything.

They're manchildren who have never had to fill out an insurance claim and they don't realize that insurance companies do everything possible to get out of paying what they owe you.

There is a maximum treshhold for any subreddit to be in any way decent which I think is about 100k subs or something of a daily ammount of engagement . Above it the Admins and Powerjannies will demand you add one of their own to the moderation team no matter if the creator is alone holding the place together, they already have their own mods doing a good job, or anything like it. You WILL accept the reddit approved janny or else.

And as soon as La Creatura joins the mod team it is all down hill.

I've written about this before, but that was basically how the subreddit that I was part of got ruined. A run-of-the-mill pReddit faggot (this was before the troons completely infested everything) was brute-forced onto the mod team. Accused the actual admin/subreddit founder of creating/fostering homophobia. Hilarious because it was an open secret that he was gay and it bothered absolutely nobody. pReddit power MODS step in and boot the founder and do their usual "slash and burn" admin methods. Shadowbans, deleting or editing posts that could be "pRoBlEmAtIc", and opening the floodgates to all their faggot friends who had no clue of the culture or even the subject at hand. Completely ruined the entire community.

There was no exact moment when Reddit became shit. Reddit was always shit.

It has always had shitty parts. But for me, the most visible sign of the downfall of pReddit was when that hideous looking mongoloid Ellen Pao took over as CEO, beginning their rampant slant towards commercialization, and most notably when they fired AMA coordinator Victoria without reason. When most of the top subs went dark in protest, the power jannies used their Powers Of Faggotry to force open most of the default subs again after the top PReddit leaders had a shitfit.

R/Legaladvice always made me laugh. Aside from the idiots asking potentially serious life altering legal questions on pReddit of all places, you'll get completely idiotic pRedditors spewing their opinions about something that they obviously have no clue about.
