Undoubtedly, people have changed their behaviours in the past few decades towards buying more frivolities, but I wonder how much of this is from people having cameras on themselves constantly. Some of this looks fun, but I'd never video record myself having that fun; I'd rather keep it to myself. It's more special that way.
That angers me. We know a small business fucking up like that would have much less leeway, and fewer lawyers to fight anyone who complains. I wouldn't be surprised if some of these incidents weren't accidents, but free advertising.That reminds me of this recent story from Tim Hortons where there app had a so called glitch where it told people they won $10,000 in their new rollup the rim contest.
