EU Spain: Vox party spokesperson is expelled for calling a trans woman named Jimena “Jaime"

Last Wednesday, plenary session of the Chamberí District Board ended with Vox spokesman, Álvaro José Belda Copado, expelled after calling Jimena González, the trans spokesperson for Más Madrid in the district, “Don Jaime”. OKDIARIO gained access to the video of the moment in which the fight took place after González denounced the issue on social media.

It all starts when Belda refers to the member of Más Madrid as "Don Jaime", who, according to herself, began her transition from man to woman two years ago. At that moment, González jumps up and interrupts the Vox member's intervention to request a "point of order" for the "obvious and notorious lack of respect in which he has just incurred."

The request, however, is not met by the president of the plenary session, the PP councilor Francisco Javier Ramírez Caro, who argues that it is not a matter of order and ignores González's repeated requests to suspend the session. After a few minutes of scuffle between the spokesperson and the president of the plenary session, and while the members of Más Madrid make the threat of getting up and leaving the plenary session, Ramírez decides to suspend it.

The recording is interrupted at that moment and resumes with the president's words in which he asks the Vox spokesman to "rectify and apologize" for having called Jimena "Don Jaime". The Vox spokesman refuses and asks to continue with his turn to speak, while the Más Madrid bench stands up en bloc and leaves the session.

Belda justifies her refusal to withdraw her words to the fact that the spokesperson for Más Madrid appears as "Jaime González" in the official composition of the Chamberí District Board that is included on the Madrid City Council website. «The composition of the Board of Chamberí says that the spokesman for the municipal group of Más Madrid is Jaime González Gómez. I'm sorry, but I don't know all their names," argues the Vox spokesman. (NT: he uses the neutral 'sus', which I'm translating here as 'theirs' because there is no gendered translation for his or her in Spanish. Both are the same).

The president insists that he should rectify, but (Belda) insists on his argument: "I cannot rectify when your name is written in the composition." The president repeated the request for rectification on numerous occasions, but without success until he interrupted the plenary session again.

When the broadcast resumes, the president affirms that he is very sorry for what happened and points out that "it is a shame" that "a person has been directly attacked, especially their dignity." “We know the process you are going through. It is true that the full name appears in the documents because since the process hasn't finished, it has to legally appear like that, they do not allow us to change it. But I do ask the Vox spokesperson to apologize and leave, because he has said it in a way that the spokesperson understands has been offensive and all members of the Board must be respected for the benefit of the district and all the residents and continue with the agenda, which is what we are all here for, ”says the president.

Nevertheless, the Vox spokesman did not give in and did not withdraw what he said. "I don't know all the names of the members of Más Madrid and I have consulted the composition of the board and his name was Jaime. We are sorry that he or she felt offended, of course, it'ss not up to us to evaluate that," he explained.

The president, citing article 41 of the regulations, calls the Vox spokesman to order and, once again, asks him to back down, apologize and remove his words from the minutes. "I repeat that we will not remove it," Belda responded. For the second time, the president calls the Vox spokesman to order, to which he replies that he requests in turn that he call the PSOE spokesperson to order for calling his municipal group "xenophobic". After a third unsuccessful request, the president asks the Vox spokesman to leave the plenary session.

Yes, but its a session of parlament, you can be very nasty in those...

He wasn't nasty, his name is literally Jaime in all documents. This is tranny tyranny.
Yes, but you are allowed to be nasty. he could have called some random commie member a sissy...

His response should have been that Jaime is disrespecting the chamber by appearing before it in a wig and a dress.
But I do ask the Vox spokesperson to apologize and leave, because he has said it in a way that the spokesperson understands has been offensive
Do trannies have Lese Majeste rights now? They get to shut down the functions of government and remove its members if their titles and honors are not properly observed?

Maybe Franco didn't go far enough.
Franco and Tito are the most fascinating dictators to me. They objectively were the two dictators of Europe who played their cards right and merely have a mixed legacy whether than just being despised outright.

The history to my understanding was that Franco annoyed Hitler so much with strong demands that Hitler essentially told him to fuck off. I can't tell whether Franco was being greedy or purposely tanked the negotiation wisely knowing neutrality resulted in little risk.

I mean the writing's on the wall, in Spain they clearly do.
If we were all hypothetically betting on which country was going to snap first from huffing too much equality (or troon-pandering if you like), Canada might be the obvious popular choice, but I'd be having a cheeky bet and putting my money on Spain as the dark horse that's gonna come out of nowhere and take it. It's a gut feeling.

Spanish trannies are completely shitballs crazy. If you think Canada's can't get worse, just look east.

Lmao his name is literally jaime in all the documentation the deigo looked at! What more do you fucking want? Just everyone to be psychic and go, "oh this person has a different name despite it not appearing in any listings." El fucko off.

No no, you're supposed to feel deeply mortified and issue a groveling apology for daring to use the name on official documentation.

Making you feel bad and getting your apology is the whole point. If he changed his official name on his documents, he wouldn't be able to get people to grovel as easily.

For whatever reason, news from Spain barely reach the anglo world and the average person (or the average kiwi) has no idea how fucked Spain is right now, socially and economically. But no, the dark horse's not Spain, it's Argentina. They are equally fucked, with the particularly that Argentina it's a third world, so the insanity is even worse and the economy doesn't stop on the way down. The average Argie is more pozzed than the average Spaniard, for whatever reason, imo.

This is proof of troons only purpose to infight and tear apart everything they touch. Who cares whatever's going on in this session or what our political objective is, the problem is that I got called my birth name!!
Back in the day the saying went "Behind ever Greek conflict, the woman was the reason",
Now the saying will become "Behind every conflict, the tranny was the reason"
