Actually we do say "not all ticks" if we aren't completely retarded because the only ticks that do carry Lyme disease are two species of deer tick, at least in America, whereas there's another species in Europe that carries it there.
I also like that this logic "works" if you replace ticks with black people. You should avoid black people because enough of them are dangerous that to keep yourself safe, you should avoid them, or at least never relax about blacks. Same exact logic.

I don't even wholly disagree with that comic's logic. They're not wrong about showing more concern at night when walking home alone because of a heightened risk. I, as a man, would also have my guard up if I knew another man was approaching me (context mattering of course) because he's more likely to attack me than a woman is and if I'm in a scenario where I'm the one approaching a woman there I try to make sure that I'm not giving off an appearance of being threatening with that knowledge in mind.
As said by posts above, we all know that the screeching begins when black people are used as an example. I don't suppose they'd be "taking the time to hear what men are saying" if the topic was about concerns about relationships and marriage regarding the XX chromosome part of that heterosexual equation being able to fuck your life up on a whim with the help of the court system either. Call me Inceldamus, but I can see the slurs and accusations that'd be received pretty easily and suddenly the conversation would be switched from the topic on hand to "BUT MEN DO [THING]."
We'll never live in a time where you can actually discuss these things on normal social media though because one side will always be jannied into oblivion and the people who claim to be lacking in power vehemently believe in "Might makes right" so long as they're the ones who direct which way that the cannons point. It's the same thing that they pull with race: they'll do the "Ugh white people" thing all day and when called out will act like you're crazy because they so ooooobviously don't mean "All" white people and aren't racist... unlike when whites say something similar about blacks. Then it's time to freak out.
What do we do when the red text on the last slide is no longer hyperbole for most women? We can't continue to exist if a state of mind like that becomes normal. You can't fix problems when you're always fearful, instead you modify your behavior to avoid the things that make you scared.

I had realised (litetally a lightbulb moment seeing my dad, whom I hate cause he fucked off and called once per year, with his current kids) that maybe men are just not prepared for fatherhood before being 30-40 years old, and that is where all those historical gaps came from.

That's probably part of it (I'm interpreting you mean mature when you say "prepared" but correct me if I'm wrong,) but I think a lot of the gaps historically came down to men needing the time to accumulate resources since he would have typically held more of that burden as women were less likely to be in the workforce and there was the general expectation of making larger families (especially for women) than we have now.
I think as it pertains to modern day a lot of people in the first world, men and women alike, aren't prepared for parenthood (I'm not sure if I'll have kids so I'm hardly sneering as I type this) until the age range you mentioned, and even then a lot of them are iffy.

They're totally right about that as a Bayesian influence, i.e., male more likely to attack you, but they're not really justifying using routine caution, but instead making mindless generalizations. It's ironic they'd use this argument at all, considering it was not so long ago that they were screeching about telling women to use common sense to reduce their risks and insisting that we just have to have a social worker tell rapists to stop raping people (while of course abolishing the police).
Also you usually have more bits of information about someone you see on the street than just that they're black or a man. For instance, a neatly dressed black man in a reverend's outfit with a clerical collar is probably not going to mug or rape you, while a wild-eyed white man who is clearly twitching from meth and staring you down intently is probably a real risk and should be avoided.
