Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

While not definitive proof, I remember seeing something about how Putin has a specific gait while walking referred to as "gunslinger gait" where the walker still naturally swings their non-dominant arm while walking, but their draw arm doesn't swing so it can stay close to the gun at all times. Not something that a paper pusher would have ingrained into their gait, imo.
Yep, probably a force of habit.

The videos of Putin going to Mauripol are awesome, actually seeing a leader among the people when our President is so Demented he shits himself and forgets a congress woman was killed in a car accident and tries to get her attention during an event.
As opposed to numbnuts dodging East Palestine play make believe in Kiev.

Even on the assumption that everything is staged...
...At least make the effort to stage something with your own people.

What stands out the most to me about his visit are the videos with him actually driving. When was the last time you had a major Western leader take a car out for a spin?

That would be QE 2 scaring the shit out of the Saudi King.

The Queen and Putin actually got on quite well. It's a shame the retards in government didn't let him in for the funeral.

What a fucking ghoul.
I finally realized what has subconsciously been bothering me this entire time. The allegedly genocidal aggressor is the one calling for peace talks at every turn and the allegedly heroic defenders whose very existence is threatened keep doubling down on "to the last hohol" each and every time. Surely it is supposed to be the other way round?

I was always wondering how do politicians and reviled people, like Soros and Schwab, even bear to live the way they do?
They live in heavily protected, gated communities. Within these, their mansions are also under protection by their own security detail. They are being monitored 24/7. Not just by their own men, but various agencies, both allied and enemy. They can't go on a brisk walk, a nice night drive, or take a trip to the store. At least, not without a bunch of spooks tagging along. All their social interactions are strictly scheduled and always held in the company of their own ilk.
They ended up living in a metaphorical bird cage, thanks to their hubris. Even children have better autonomy. No wonder they go batshit crazy in their later years.

The EU currently produces 5000 rounds of artillery per month. To match Russia it would need to start supplying Ukraine with anything from 600,000 to 1.8 million total rounds per month based on a burn rate of 20-60,000 rounds per day. Russia's baseline use is 20K and it ramps up to 60K when they're on an offensive. Russia had anything from 50-70 million rounds pre-war, including 30 million of usable Soviet stock and are currently producing 380-500,000 rounds per month with a target to double that in the next 6 months.

The EU plan is to supply Ukraine with 1 million 155mm rounds in 12 months. Who will produce this ammo? Don't know. It's an announcement of an intention to fund production from an unknown location and supplier on an indeterminate timeframe. In other words it's facile nonsense and even if they some how met this magical target, which they won't, it's nowhere near enough for Ukraine.

Ukraine will hit ammo famine some time in the summer so view this as a 'well we did everything we could' PR stunt prior. The EU and the burgers have pretty much stopped supplying Ukraine with anything useful and all the 'announcements' are media driven paper plans to do nothing.

I'm just generally fascinated how worthless all this hyper expensive super advanced weaponry is in real life usage. You'd think the key lessons from WW2 and beyond were that you need to make weaponry that can calibrate itself and run for longer without maintenance yet the new technology seems to need touched up every few hours to stop it from going completely out of sync. It seems like the US believes that in a real life conventional war there'd be an unlimited amount of resources and engineers behind every missile launcher to ensure that it never comes into any harm, meaning that straying from its base even a little is enough to become nothing but an expensive target.

Now I see why the US simply abandoned trucks in Afghanistan instead of trying to move them back to a base to refit them, they're completely and utterly dogshit if you stumble upon even a minor roadblock. Sand can fuck them, mud can fuck them, the cold can stall their engines, the heat can burn out key electronics etc. Just once I'd like to see their brand new advanced tanks navigate through Alaska or a muddy field before they decide to order 50 of them. Any equipment that requires the perfect environment to work properly is worthless in conventional warfare.

AVDIIVKA DEFENSE LINES COLLAPSED - Russia entered SW Avdiivka; entered Stepove; reaching Berdychi

I know someone here remarked that war between two peer powers tended to be a long series of stalemates as each grinds each other down, before it inevitably progresses to a rapid series of collapse on one side as they run out of everything to sustain the war. I wonder if we're seeing the start of the latter now.

EDIT: Dear lord this guy's Singaporean accent just made me laugh.

This is the result of the Fulda Gap syndrome. There was an expectation that all of this stuff would get expended in the first week of a NATO v Warsaw Pact conflict and that long term maintenance in attrition style conflict would not be required. NATO's doctrine is all about the point of impact like some Medieval Knight charge to the exclusion of all other sensibilities, it just doesn't have the production or reserves to go the long haul like Russia or China at this point in serious warfare. Desert Storm being such a resounding success has fucked the US doctrine more than anything in its military history, the US went from having pragmatic weaponry that got the job done and in large quantity to specialized gear for narrow tasks in low production quantity. Worse, the production capability was destroyed so in many cases half the weaponry the US uses like the A-10 cannot be serviced, or the Abrams Tank, which has a single plant and literally cannot be scaled up more more production or servicing of damaged tanks.

Sounds like America is afraid of Russo-Chinese forces taking out aging American spy satellites. Sorry America bros, should not have touched China's spy balloon first.

And should have stayed far away from Black sea. We know that they worship niggers, but this Black is ours. On serious note, what they expect? That Russian MoD will tolerate feeding intel to adversary? I think Russian army just waiting for convenient excuse to bring down these satellites from orbit
