As other said, the shells aren't made or in theater yet.God bless them they really don't know what's about happen, do they. The US and Europe have been retooling their military industrial complexes for at least 6 months now. Millions of Shells have been put on order, including Soviet standard calibers. Several hundred main battle tanks are either already in Ukraine or on the way.
If Russia could barely make any head way now...
And while the MBTs & IFVs are going to help, remember Ukraine is populated and run by Slavs so I'm moderating how high I'm raising my hopes.
If I remember my numbers right Ukraine was doing 9000 and Russia was doing 18000. But the daily burn is not a great number to use except for gross scale comparisons because its extrapolated. And especially for Russia, given they have the initiative right now, they have greater flexibility to adjust their average fire rate down.Edit: If I recall correctly Ukraine is firing approx 6000 shells per day, while Russia is about double or triple of that, but my memory is a little bit fuzzy on the exact details, someone else might know.

I thought that the first cannon was almost done but they they still had reserves (a whole gun iirc) but they'd need to take it off display to start carving it up.They better watch out. The UK only has enough cannon bronze in inventory for another 85 Victoria Crosses at most. Only a matter of time until the British decide to replenish those stocks, and with actual metal from Sevastopol this time instead of the Chinese guns they've been using.
