Resident Evil - Virgin Vampire Wine Mom vs Chad Magnetic Lebowski

Who? Outside of maybe a couple people most people here seem to hate the super serious tone.
"Here" is the key word. Kiwi's seem pretty skeptical/critical of the game. So many YouTubers and comments sections are praising the game to hell and back.

I've been huffing copium for over 20 years that we might see Dino Crisis back. Now I dread what a remake would look like...
Regina will potentially be Shitted up into a sub-saharan.
I don't think they'd race swap her. My guess is they'd make her yet another girl-boss cunt and make her outfit less appealing.

RE4make is now available for download on steam.
I'm going to pass on it. I never bothed with RE3 and I can wait on RE4 as well. I have the original with the fan made HD mod. I still haven't finished the DLC for RE7 and haven't touched RE8 yet. Maybe when it's on sale for £8 with all the DLC I'll give it a shot.

Even if the game is great I was planning to use Fitgirl. It's my little way to get my REmake 3 money back.
I never had grand affinity to RE3 so I really didn't care. It just felt like a glorified expansion pack to RE2. I'm still waiting on buying Village on steep discount because it still feels like a really hollow game and it seems the DLC was lazy.

Gmanshills released his video on it too
Holy shit that guys sounds like a whiny fag and his little quip about not being able to look up Ashley's skirt sealed it for me, he's a fag. On a side note, I'm shocked that the niggerfaggots at Capcom didn't pull a Take2 and remove the original from the market. It just feels like something they would do these days.

It's just a preposterous case of game design failure since they had the PERFECT proof of concept in the form of Mister X stalking the player in REmake 2's station.

Just take that design and create 4 distinct large "hubs" (Uptown/station, Downtown, Clock Tower/Hospital, and Park/Abandonned Factory) and let loose the player and Nemesis in it. Give the player non-linear objectives to accomplish requiring lots of travelling but level the playing field by making Nemesis attracted to noises not generated by the player too (like random gunshots in the distance). There, done. How did the devs fuck that up so bad?!

Okay, so if you have any questions about the remake, I'll ask you quote/ reply to this and I'll reply whenever.

I am currently looking for
-Cut content
-Pre rendered cutscenes?
-The feel
-CRINGE
- changed plot points

the shooting gallery is delightful. the spanish song that played in the police car during the intro of og RE4 got remixed and kicks in when you activate the bonus round.

they fixed not being able to crouch when walking in reverse, thank fuck.

upgrades matter a lot more. the peseta economy is intense.

After seeing how the regenerators look in RE4 remake in clear footage, you can see how fucking awful the design is. It’s like capcom just took the molded from RE7 and re-skinned them as regenerators. They just don’t look scary anymore.

Take a look and compare.

That creepy grin is what really gets me on the original.
A bit of trivia for you - you know how Capcom threw a number of Killer7 references in the game (Leon's stance when equipped with the Handcannon, and the name of the magnum you can buy from the merchant)? Here's one that people didn't seem to catch - the original design of the Regenerador is very similar to the Heaven Smile enemies from the other game - especially since you need to shoot their weak point to instantly kill them.

Not to old fag or hipster, but I feel like one anymore; and I think part of it is how quickly "communities" will astro-turf shit. Yeah Resident Evil 4 is a great game, it was truly a "game changing experience" back in 2003 or whenever it was... And people will question my refusal to fellate something I experienced 20 years ago.

I was there when it was revolutionary. It's nothing new, a fresher coat of paint and some rework; but Ashley still needs to be saved, Krauser still wants to stab Leon, and it's not gonna have the same impact like it did when I was 20 years younger.

And I will play it, I'll probably even enjoy it... But I'm not gonna get all fluttery, because the game I love is on the GameCube (and everything since). Everyone else is having, something like nostalgia glasses, and that's if they even played the original (in any form).

Killer 7 fucking blows, it has always sucked and was nothing but pretentious bullshit for retards that are now mad about modern indie games being pretentious wankfests??? Insufferable hipster House of the Dead is what that game is.

I really wanted to hate this. I really did, but I can't.

Five hours in, just beat Del Lago.

Cutscenes aren't pre rendered, so it was a treat seeing Leon in the villain outfit in the back of the cop car with Wesker Shades.

Combat is great, this 5 hours I've had infinite more joy than re3 make.

I'm playing on hard, the suggested difficulty. It literally says pick this if you've played RE4. Prices are higher and enemies are smarter. Feels good.

Everything that they changed, for the most part has been good. You can't cheese the village fight by hiding in the tower or the one room, Big Cheese is absolutely menacing.

I'm liking it.

Yea I'm really enjoying it too. I wanted the opportunity to complain but so far it's really good.

I'm really liking it so far, feels a little to much like VIllage so far but that was to be expected. Also the rope bridge falling down in the Valley was a neat trick Capcom

the info i gave on knives wasn't fully accurate, so here's how it actually works.

combat knife = starting knife
fighting knife = Krauser's knife (it is not indestructible nor does it become so; you acquire it after killing him, and it maximizes damage whereas Combat Knife is for speed)
kitchen knife + boot knife = backup knives that drop randomly

the primal knife is Leon's signature knife from RE4 og, and it requires you to destroy the sixteen castellan statues across the sixteen chapters and buy it from the bonus point shop for 1000 scorebux. i messed this up early because i was so distracted by how awesome the riot gun was, so i have to do another playthrough. i do not know its stats but i am confident that's the one that will be the infinite durability knife.

also, you can't achieve S+ ranks on new game+'s. you have to start fresh playthroughs if you wish to do that, and the requirements are very strict. this sucks because the +8% movement speed charm is insane.

Just as good as the original. But so far I think it's way more challenging, but with the upgrades, it's probably going to be very chill.

No merchant run is going to be disgusting.
