There's a certain pattern in the retarded internal logic of a Shane lie that the butter knife specifically falls in. He wants his story to be dramatic as possible. It's not enough to just be raped. That happens all the time. So he thinks: i know, a knife! But that's a tad too extreme. Leaves too much room for follow up questions on the health of his asshole. Better dial it back a bit. A butter knife? Much better. Iron clad. Bullet proof.

You can kinda see this same train of thought present in his other lies, notably the ones about his weight. You know he badly wants to say his weight is something absolutely preposterous like 145 lbs or something, but he figures if he takes a small "hit" it's believable so he throws out a number much closer to the truth (which is probably near 300)

They're still all over, they've just changed form. Now they sit on reddit and Twitter as pseudo intellectuals. They water down the toughness and instead try to look like they know everything about everything, and talk down to Everyone.

I used to encounter these types all the time when I did my promo bullshit on reddit. GT sub was full of them. You'd post something fairly simple and basic, not offending or argumentative, and often a generally known fact, and they'd respond with an extremely passive aggressive know it all statement about whatever it was you said, often half or completely bullshit, and when you simply respond with info they get worse. Reddit especially has alot of them

4 months ago, moving into the Portland/Gresham area. The only reason someone mentioned some place like Portland with the name of another location is because just saying the name of that place no one would have any fucking idea where it is. So, by this logic, he moved to Gresham, Oregon 4 months ago.

Interesting, if you put Nokes and Gresham, Oregon into Google, you get a whole bunch of shit. One is for a Lance Nokes, in Gresham, Oregon. He's 63. Could be the father or uncle of Shame, going by the age difference. Address and phone numbers are easily available.

There are an unusual concentration of Nokes in Gresham, Oregon. I doubt that is a coincidence.

Looks like we may have a new trove of data to work through.

This, interestingly, included a couple of things that could be called rudimentary flight sims. Not the sort that most enthusiasts would actually consider such, but they involve a plane and a spaceship respectively.
I think it might be possible for a 4 year old to copy down text from a book like this, but I'd be more inclined to believe it was actually 6 or 7. I'm being extremely generous to this guy really. Though the point is more figuring out just what the hell he meant by coding a rudimentary flight simulator, and considering the way he blows up and aggrandizes other things from very minor relations and achievements, I think it's most likely he copied a text game when he was a kid and worded it in a way that sounds much more impressive than it actually is.

Over the last week I've become fluent in Nokes. When he was a 4 year old who coded a rudimentary flight simulator, it means he made a paper plane.
