There is the possibility that Chris was given a medical bond.
This is a fairly new thing and would bond him out to receive "medical care" that the prison system does not want to pay for. Such as placement in a therapeutic group home situation type deal.
The group home will bond out tards for the Medicaid bucks they will receive in exchange for housing, feeding, and wrangling the autists.

The two things I know about halfway houses is that the guys are all gross/creepy as is assumed, and that we have to turn off the wifi at work so they don't have internet access at night.

I do know someone who is "banned" from the internet and she's only allowed to have a basic flip phone with no internet access.

We'll have to wait and see where Chris ends up.

Being banned from the internet would probably be good for Chris, but since his crimes weren’t related to internet access, I don’t think the court is going to order that.

However, if he has to go to a group home, like I suspect, he won’t have a device to go online with. No computer, no video game systems and it’s going to take a while for him to get a phone. He also won’t have the privacy to make any more of his more memorable videos.
