In regards to the IA, if you care about the art you make why wouldn’t you want it archived in some capacity? What happens if you die or whatever you’re using to get your work out there goes down? I think this really only solidifies Pat makes books to make money. He doesn’t care about the long term effects of anything he makes. Once he’s dead there’s no reason to have his books around, because he won’t be alive to collect royalty checks.

I didn't mind Children of Dune all that much, had some meme moments imo. Definitely not as good as the first 2 books since I felt the need to take breaks from it and read other novels; I started reading The Evening Redness (I'm enjoying it but it's my car book so I don't make too much progress), James Joyce's Ulysses, and Consider Phlebas (which I'm already a 5th through despite starting it last week). I usually only read on my breaks at work so I don't have too much time. Enough sperging about reading though.

Pat Rick is a heavy man, you'd think catching children to turn into pepperoni would get him to lose some weight. I'm gonna be honest here, I'm a heavy man, but my skin does not look like it's splitting ay the seams like his is. I am flabbergasted at how this man is still alive given his diet of negroroni, beer, and rage. And really, how can you call Paul a white savior in the first place when he adpots fremen customs, a fremen name, and literally becomes a fremen by their law, and is thus bound by it.
