The "bond" is a coverup he finally broke out using his powers
This. We're getting the goddess ending.

It's just like in the movie Annihilation. A reality warping wave steadily spreading out from the jail in every direction. The entire earth will be Cwcville before this month is over. If you don't wish to be tempered under Chris' divine will, you still have some time left to end yourselves ala I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream.

There's no need for a transportation order to bring a defendant to/from court. The only other time there's been another transportation order is when he was sent to Western State.
This thread was 12 pages when I saw it at lunch (now 65+), but this is pretty much it. Based on my professional experience, any of these are possible:
  • He's gone to the halfway house/group home until his next hearing.
  • They may have needed room in the jail (possible),
  • Pretrial release is not unusual, although the progression in this case is unusual. It's probably due to the nature of the charges that he wasn't released after arraignment, but this was probably due to the necessity of having him evaluated and finding a placement for him.
Some of the restrictions put on pretrial release CAN be:
  • You have to live at a specified address (likely in his case).
  • You may have a curfew, telephone restrictions and/or permission to leave the home only to go to court dates, work or legal/medical appointments. Hard to enforce but it happens sometimes.
  • You cannot have any contact with a victim or witnesses,
  • You cannot come within X feet of an address (or addresses) the court will specify (usually the victims' home, place the crime happened, etc.)
  • You must check in with your [parole officer/release officer/attorney/counselor/social worker/whatever] within 24 hours of release and at intervals they require thereafter.
  • You MAY wear a tracking bracelet if ordered to do so.
  • You must show up for all scheduled appointments relating to this case.
  • You may not possess weapons or ammunition.
Depending on how much of an issue things are and what fucks up, the result of failing to strictly abide by these conditions can result in an immediate warrant for your arrest. If he screws up, they'll take him in. You can start a spreadsheet with all the possible outcomes if you want, but it's a safe bet that they finally found some place to put him at least temporarily, and he was given at least a few of those conditions for staying out of jail.

What happens now will just have to happen. People with his issues can have many cycles of arrest/treatment/confinement before something permanent sticks. The FAQ thread may be closed but it contains some good information for people new to this, or inexperienced with the legal system.

Three, Chris needs to find a serious ghostwriter and cash in now, preferably without the Flying Circus of Morons.
Galloping horny toads, but it was hard to extract this from that giant paragraph.

I think we all need a little space. Yes, a book deal would be a good thing. All the best stories based on real life have them.

It will take many sleepless nights (and Mike's hard lemonade) but I think they could condense a 5 billion k manuscript and it's something a little under 500,000 words.

I'll let you know when we have it published.

Can you imagine if he skips out on bond?

Bounty hunter arc forthcoming.
Wouldn't even make the first commercial break. Unless he's literally locked away from all forms of communication he really makes no effort to hide his crazy ass.
