That's been his thing for years. I honestly think that DSP is deathly afraid of aging. I mean, shit, if you look at picstures of, say, Alex Valle (another Street Fighter player), he definitely looks his age and is embracing it. Dude has gray hairs, wears pretty common shirts. Valle looks like he sees himself as 45 years smarter rather than older, of that makes sense.

Meanwhile, DSP wears children shirts with little video game prints, makes every attempt to make his hair look young by slicking it back and gelling it, never goes to the doctor's (and is seemingly afraid to), and dodges any attempt to bring up adult conversations. He's afraid of being reminded that he's old now, despite telling people that he's a mature adult.

Outside of the escort saga. It's always semantics. Any video on dsps history with robust views has the meat and potatoes. Normies don't care anyway it's just entertainment. However there's enough there for you to get the guist of the dsp plot regardless the inaccuries and exaggerations or occasional escort sagas sprinkled in.

If you do happen to be a nimble navigatior piloting by autism those videos are the tip of the iceberg anyway. You're gonna peice together true story after that pretty quickly.

The inaccuracies are obviously a cristicsm of the creator. But even then, is it? What do you expect from a 12 minute video covering nearly a decade in Sunnyvs case. For what it is, it's fine. It's more like a telephone game on the internet this brand of content creation. Except for with lolcows its just the cow and the detractors passing the phone back and forth. Its hard to conversation to listen on andnkeep track of. So even if you have the most solid reputation there's shits gonna slip through the cracks. Journalism integrity is that even applicable these day. There's line you can cross obviously but none of these inaccuracies get any where close to it. Escort saga is wild. Could see the grooming allegations being a bit harsh. But realistically it all comes down to numbers and platforms and people's and specific games and tourneys. Don't let that shit fly.

Those videos are great. Because they grace a space between the normal person and detractors/kiwifarmers/the deep divers. They allow a normie to be engaged and maybe even dive in deeper. And for those who are already in deep it encourages them to dig in deeper. Escpically when those inaccuracies are highlighted.

It's like the Streisand effect. Normal people will still think Phil's shit cause they've moved on. But detractors and people in these spaces like kiwifarms will go back and correct that info. And the phone game continues as Phil's reputation diminishes.

To be honest what I want to see is a psychologist comment on some of DSP's most infamous clips and tell the whole world what kind of personality trait (most likely negative) it represents. That would be a real doozy just to see how a professional would rate Phil on the spectrum. Some detractors think Phil is indeed on the spectrum and considering how he acts (his quick to anger or his "vision of grandeur" just to mention two) I can defintely see that.

Steve of the Dead is basically that, you will never get a "DSP has X" though because psychologists ethically can't say that without actually having a session with Phil. Sadly his content about DSP's psychology is spread out onto multiple channels and all the videos are long as fuck.
