You mean California and New Yorkin a third world country,
There's plenty of begging in West Virginia and Mississippi too.You mean California and New York
That's impossible! We all know a tax attorney does his taxes, not a lowly CPA.We know from the bank leaks that he's engaged the services of Grass CPA & Associates.
He really thought that moment was to be shared among peers. Like he really thought those people were going to walk away as friends after he obviously spent 5 hours lying to their faces. The best part about the cap was he tried to blame the detractors for calling it a Nazi cap AND his audience for making him wear it. Like I'm sorry... He bought the cap on his own merit so he could "go on a tear" as Bison. No one told him, asked him, or made him go out and buy a hat that evokes the image of a famous dictator. My favorite evolution after the narc ego injury finally registered with Phil is how he couldn't shut up about how fair the interview had been on the patreon overtime session where he just had to get his autistic shit in and quote the shitty motion picture monologue in order to don his idiotic hat for the real fans of sidescrollers, compared to his current crying foul about it today.
I find it hilarious that he's become the "new Tevin" in the eyes of some tractors. All he did was spam enough clickbait that you would have to notice them if you search up DarksydePhil on Youtube. He's not the "new Tevin". He's not even the new Fred Fuchs. He's the Derich for (i cringe to say this) our side. Nobody likes him but he's protected.Exactly, at least DSP is getting money from a retarded fanbase.
Doody is like some dent level janny.

100% agree with your take. I would bet eating a Cobra burger that Phil would not survive an audit and I don't believe that him claiming his full mortage as a business expense if the only thing that is not kosher with his taxes as well.I don't know anything about this stuff, and this is completely speculative, but to me it seems likely that Phil claimed his mortgage as a business expense, knows that this is illegal and that he should not have done this, and feigns ignorance of his business expenses and puts it all on his tax guy as a way to weasel out of it.
I don't think this is right. He does have a tax guy, after all, and I think even the most brain-dead accountant would notice if he was claiming 100% of the mortgage as "business" at the same address he lives at. DSP Fraud Maximalists like to say "The tax guy always just takes your word for it no matter what you tell them", but there are limits to that.I don't know anything about this stuff, and this is completely speculative, but to me it seems likely that Phil claimed his mortgage as a business expense, knows that this is illegal and that he should not have done this, and feigns ignorance of his business expenses and puts it all on his tax guy as a way to weasel out of it.

I mean its a classic liars thing. As someone trying to break that habit, I can pick that shit out from a mile away. And I power level for a reason, as a clever liar, or at least a very smart one. Or if you guys don't believe that shit, a habitual liar, you get real good at stacking your deck. Phil can do that too. And I can prove it with this lack of doing it too.One last thing about this shit. And it's too little too late but did Phil at any point realize he didn't have to show the whole username to craig? All he would need was to crop the first three letters of HIS username and if they don't add up to "Downfromtherafters" or "TheyCallMeDSP" he would have been in the clear.
Like I found his excuses to be flimsy but he would really rather sit there and lie his little ass off than think for three seconds.
I've watched this interview about 3 times and it's a fucking gold mine. He's such a fucking snake-man

The big contrary to that idea is that the IRS has a whistleblower reward program. You cannot tell me that nobody would have reported on that in all the years between the bankruptcy and now. Not with the autism involved by some people. Looking at people like Doody especially.100% agree with your take. Phil simply plays dumb to cover up his expenses because he lies to both. He HAS TO KNOW what he's handing in to his tax guy. It makes little sense that he just grabs a handful of papers and hands it to his tax guy and it just happens to be everything he needs. His tax guy would be telling him to keep records in case he gets audited since his tax guy won't be the one to get in trouble. "I didn't know" isn't a valid defense, everybody should know this.It seems to me that Phil plays dumb about not knowing anything about his taxes or business expenses, and uses his tax guy as a shield. He says he doesn't know anything about his business expenses after 15 years of doing this, but also says that he's working on his taxes and has every expense listed in an excel spreadsheet.

Tax people aren't all knowing though, they can only go off the information they are being given. If DSP is lying, his tax guy might not be aware of how badly he's lying.I don't think this is right. He does have a tax guy, after all, and I think even the most brain-dead accountant would notice if he was claiming 100% of the mortgage as "business" at the same address he lives at. His health insurance is easy to pass, his meals and doordash fees aren't. I wouldn't even try to pass them off as that since he orders DoorDash so often for his regular meals. His Home office one is the wobbly one. His two internet lines are definitely going to fuck up his deductions since he uses both for personal and work related stuff, he refuses to his phone and wants strictly e-mail only communication which means his phone bills aren't deductible. If he uses that office for anything else other than business related reasons, that will also limit what he can deduct.Did a quick search about what he can claim as expenses
And no he can't claim meals. He might be able to if he did a cooking show or review, but not regular ones as far as I can read this.
Anybody actually knowing anything about this please correct what I have missed or misunderstood.
They do have a whistleblower department, but it requires you to use real identifying information, actual paper work, physical evidence of the fraud, and must be signed under oath. Even Doody must realize that if not done correctly, there will be repercussions from it as it's hard to get physical evidence of Phils tax fraud as it's really only his statements and would require watching hundreds, if not thousands, of hours of his boring content. The big contrary to that idea is that the IRS has a whistleblower reward program. You cannot tell me that nobody would have reported on that in all the years between the bankruptcy and now. Not with the autism involved by some people. Looking at people like Doody especially.
I don't really know what to tell you, we just see DSP fundamentally differently.Yes there is, he didn't get the new whales he could reliably beg to he wanted.
DSP is no different from the beggars who give you a sob story at a bus stop in a third world country, and who will repeat that same story every single day as long as you are there, cause that's just what they do in life.
DSP is just online and more successful but it's no different at all.
The Phil method of lying. Throws out two unlikely but plausible options:You know how Phil is always yelling at his empty chat because no one is talking to him? Well tonight, he yelled at chat because they were talking to him too much.

Now you may have noticed that Phil changed his attitude halfway through lecturing his chat there, it's because he saw this

After the stream ended, he went on a lying cope rant.
"I had to turn comments off because of my trolls. Youtube deleted your comment its not my fault. I even approve comments that criticise me. The SideScrollers have moved on, uhh I wouldnt know I dont pay attention"

EDIT: I went through the comments on that video, and these are the only ones from this account that I found.

And if you were wondering, yeah it's actually him. This screenshot is from the SideScrollers live chat
