There's multiple problems with this indictment:
> These are misdemeanors upgraded to felonies for reasons
> The statute of limitations has passed largely
> The Feds didn't think it was a violation or worth the time and they had a massive hardon for him
> A Grand Jury will Literally Indict a Ham Sandwich if you want them to, the fact it took this long to get them to do so is not a good sign
> This shit is so minor, its going to be hard to convince anyone to care
However, what this does is make for good television, create a free billion dollar campaign for Trump. The fact of the matter is that there will be massive lawfare on both sides. Though, I don't care if politicians go to jail, as long as its ALL politicians.
The possibilities of what you could get a billionaire for and you go for....misusing campaign funds. Its fucking insane. I only hope Bragg's career is ruined, but I doubt it since he's an elected DA, and people will probably re-elect him over this. Though if this blows up in his face he'll be known as the DA who secured Trump's re-election.
In actuality, this is fucking awful, because this just gave this fat orange attention whore a circus which he fucking thrives on after his fuck-ups with NFTs and YUGE ANNOUNCEMENTS. He WANTS this. Unironically.
