It's been 2 years and niggas STILL do not understand what the fuck presidential pardons are, how the fuck they work, and more importantly they COMPLETLY FORGOT the entire point of the J6 sham was to ensure Trump would be removed forever. Which they would have gotten if he had pardoned the people that "attacked the Capitol" as soon as it happened.

Fucking retards. Hindsight is 2020. I swear the same type of retard would look at old time people on history books can call them stupid for not "not getting" scientific concepts sooner.

I will never get this take. Like did you want Trump to be in prison and removed from office that badly?
They're no-knowledge individuals that have no understanding of how presidential pardons work and seem to think that just creating a blanket proclamation exonerating anyone of anything in the capital on January 6th wouldn't be a spectacular misfire.

Edit: Just to further the point home. Newsflash Retards: They planted pipe bombs in the capital specifically to cause this sort of proclamation to be a complete backfire.

Maybe I'm nitpicking, but DeSantis' press release said that Florida would not assist with Trump's arrest. He didn't say anything about resisting it. He's just saying he won't get in their way in a manner that makes him sound like he's got the balls to tell them no.
He's basically telling them that they're on their own. It's the same principle with migrants or 2A sanctuaries; he's telling them that they won't help them.

I don't think he's willing to get in a shootout with feds or NYPD. Meatball's not gonna catch an obstruction charge for Trump, no matter how justified.

He probably loses the primary and definitely the general if he lets them after the statement though. You've got to remember these guys run on the clout economy.

They aren't federal charges though, are they? Feds don't have any room to intervene unless requested by local, IE Floridian, authorities. and NY Officers would have no jurisdiction in Florida.

If the charges are federal and I just haven't noticed, then that's probably worse - Its one thing for a state to go off on a retarded crusade, its a whole different one for the feds to go after a political rival.

IANAL, but I'm pretty sure extradition between states is part of being part of the Union.

It's not required but I can't think of a case where it hasn't just been a formality
Did a quick check.

It IS required by Federal Law.

Because federal law regulates extradition between states, there are no states that do not have extradition. As of 2010, Florida, Alaska, and Hawaii do not extradite for misdemeanor convictions committed in another U.S. state.

Yeah because I'm sure if Trump pardoned them they wouldn't have arrested the Jan 6th people anyway and not done the Jan 6th commission.
These people do not understand that we are now living in the Fallen States of America. This is not a republic anymore it is a dictatorship. If you oppose the DNC you are a criminal, a Nazi, a bigot, a racist, a monster...

Time to wake up.

Edit for:

They spent seven years poking and poking and poking until they finally got some retards in a blue city to indict, something that is not a conviction but for the media it is enough, and you think what...you are going to vote your way out?

Their resources and their resolve is the same as every cult. Kill the nonbelievers. Destroy them. Toss their bodies. This is the DNC. They are the WEF. They are the globalists. Roughly 100million against their trillions of dollars in resources.

If Trump gets off they will cheat again or kill him. They will bankrupt you if you oppose them. They will break you if you oppose them. They will kill you if you oppose them so...not much left to lose.

They are tanking the US economy. They are intentionally empowering China. They are intentionally tearing down the dollar.

Red 2023 is what it is and you have to decide what you are going to do. Are you going to play along? Or are you going to stop?

Plant a garden, learn how to grow crops to take your money out of the system. Learn to sew. Learn to do things for yourself. Learn basic bushcraft. Get out of cities.

If you deny them they are going to kill you. Slowly now but later you will be a skull in a cave. I have seen them. It all goes the same.

You do not have to be violent to escape. Just escape. If you were not prepping prep now. They want violence because CNN will run it as a story they can use to excuse escalation of violence against dissidents.

Think about what you need to do to survive.

It is happening here and now.

John Carpenter knew some shit:

Especially since its just public fluff. Nobody can stop it at this point. Simply put, the research, techniques and understanding are already out there, into the open source community. ChatGPT may be ahead of the open source community due to their sheer data set sizes, but its nothing time and autistic effort won't solve. Trying to make an entire category of programming illegal, a category primarily driven by computer super autists, is going to just accelerate its development, not restrict it.

Pretty much already solved - While rando's training models to generate furry porn may be pulling from random artist uploads on websites, all the serious models out there are generally licensing access to mass repositories of content like stock photo sites and other such known tagged, qualitative data. Other entire services are standing themselves up specifically to have an army of pajeets tag down images for AI training, and identifying 'poisoned' data is as simple as a one-off trained data model that can ballpark thumbs up/down with a err on caution - Your not trying to scrape out every last possible image, your trying to validate and verify 20,000 of them as cheaply as possible. Throwing out a couple hundred extra for being 'a bit to close to maybe manipulated' is basically at no cost.

For anyone who cares, nothing they get will be poisoned in the first place.
I understand that banning or attempting to ban something only makes the desire for said unattainable desire grow that much stronger however The US government has banned loads of things only to have blown up spectacularly in their face such as probation or the war on drugs.
However never understand just how out of touch and ignorant are politicians really are. Especially when they feel even a morsel of power slipping from their lizard like grasps

If I understand the issue it's not even the "hush money" that's the issue, it was a payment to sign a legal NDA which is legal. it's how it was paid and that it could be considered a undeclared campaign donation, as it they claim not being extorted helped his political chances.

If I'm wrong I actually welcome clarification since most articles about this are being really vague and playing up the hUsH mOnEy angle, as if that was the supposed issue, but as far as I can tell it's instead technicalities about how it was paid?
My understanding of it.

The issue is around how the Trump organisation paid Michael Cohen back for the payment he made to Stormy Daniels. It was listed on the Trump organisation books as a retainer fee. Not, "tokeep that whore's mouth shut."

They are claiming this was deliberately done for the purpose of concealing the crime of a campaign finance violation. The undeclared campaign donation. Something Trump was not charged for. It is also something that if he was, it would be a misdemeanour. It is also a Federal crime outside of the jurisdiction he is being charged in. With the statute of limitations past.

So he's being indicted for committing the crime of deliberately falsifying the books to cover up a crime he was not and almost certainly would not have been convicted of.

In the 2008 campaign, John Edwards paid off his mistress. This very question was looked at and it was found to be a personal expense. As it is something he would have done in his normal capacity, even if he wasn't running a campaign. NDAs and hush money are common for rich, famous and powerful people. I'm pretty sure this is not the first time Trump has done them. So it's probably an even harder claim to make.

So it's a massive stretch. People are even questioning how can you say someone did something to cover up a crime they were never found guilty of, by a court that can't convict on it. They will have to argue Trump knew it was a crime, that it would have been found a crime and this was a deliberate act. Even though he was never found guilty of that crime. Which seems absurd. The FEC was aware of it and decided to not investigate. They will argue this is because he was the President. Not because they didn't think he was guilty. Not because of the precedent set by the John Edwards case.

Then, of course, the whole matter of bookkeeping is past the statute of limitations. They will argue some exceptions about that being paused while he is out of state because he moved to Washington and then Florida. Which I believe is tenuous. If they can bring the charges while he's living in Florida. They could have brought them within the statute of limitations. So the loop hole is negating the whole point of a statute of limitations. So it has to be on thin ground.

There may be more, there's meant to be something like 30-something things in the inditement. Maybe there'll be something worse. I assume it'll be a variety of nothing new. The majority of which will amount to absolutely nothing. They will have gone through as much Trump stuff as possible to find absolutely anything.

As if I needed more reasons to not see a therapist.

It's hilarious yet so frustrating at the same time. After all the the allegations and investigations into Trump, the best they can indict him on is paying off some porn whore's lawyer with hush money during the 2016 election. Probably the most common corruption that all politicians take part in when they're running for anything. It's not even that big of a scandal either. I'm pretty certain the news media gets paid off all the time to not to speak about way more damning things like laptops with incriminating evidence on them owned by the son of a nominee.
The most hilarious part is he didn't even pay her off. It was Cohen who paid her off with personal funds of his because he was protecting Melania from a grifting cunt hoping to brew up a scandal.

Or at least, that's what the story is but the DA's been unable to prove otherwise to the point he had to hide all evidence of that from the grand jury.
Who knows what will happen between now and then. But if Trump does turn himself in, I expect them to set up a perp walk anyway.
Of course they will. To them its a grand spectacle of the grandeur of justice, a ritual humiliation of a defeated foe, a modern day Roman triumph where a ruler is dragged through the streets of Rome in chains. Which is why it won't work. I don't think Trump is physically capable of feeling any sort of shame or humiliation.

"Why won't you let us break you?" will be the sobbing internal monologue of those few smart enough to possess one.

Christ, it seems like we're speedrunning Atlas Shrugged and not just 1984. The villains there gave Rearden a perpwalk and a show trial to try and break him, and it was as ineffective as this one with Trump will be for the simple reason that both men are openly pointing out how bullshit things are.

Wasn't this an Alex Jones theory back in the days that also made its way into the famous Alex Jones indie song?

"I identify as a therapist, therefore I have free custody to your children." Then they wonder why people are crazy.

There's some bullshit law in New York about the clock for the statute of limitations "pausing" when the defendant is out-of-state.
That seems to defy the whole purpose of the concept. None of the reasons for having a statute of limitations are "paused" just because the would-be defendant is out of state.

Fuck, why would I expect any better from New York law?
