When i was doing my postgraduate studies I had a japanese international student as a girlfriend. Absolutely everything was about appearances and status for her. I was doing a fairly respectable postgraduate degree while working but she would refuse to acknowledge it for what it was worth because it wasn't obviously good. If it is about appearances Chibi has lost all chances, The soon you look and smell him it is all over. But for some reason all the biggest losers I know from life and school got japanaese internationals as girlfriends. They even aren't a total sponges most of them are hot and pretty too if you can ignore those eyes. 0 clue why it is like this. Talked to one when she asked me to translate her something in a store and she seemed like typical kawai waifu from nip land. Only guess why they are with these guys is because most people I know aren't into that kawai shit they all want a mature women.

Can't share screenshots because the group is small so it'd be really easy to figure out who is who and I can't have that yet. But Cheebs has been crushing it in sales this month so he's been acting all high and mighty and talking down to all of us while trying to "motivate" us to sale and today he talked about refusing to talk to someone who doesn't speak English and a couple of us saw it as a perfect time to give him hell for it, giving him "friendly advice" in the condescending manner he used. He, of course, got super mad and told everyone to "stay on topic" so one of us throws it back in his face and now we're all going to use the same phrase to get under his skin. If you use the right apps, and can be reasonable enough with the moon runes; you can find Hanakos getting close to or in their 30's and wanting to save face by having children. I'm not saying he has a high chance, but if he were to somehow wind up in Japan and the Sun, the Moon, and the Planets all aligned... it's a greater than 0% chance.

The more I read Chibi's thread, the more I'm inclined to write an ALT/J-Vlogger/JapanLife community thread. There is something wrong with weebs who see Japan as divine; but there are ones who actually manage to move and get work, and really never change. There's also a massive amount of "I have x-mental health problems, is Japan accepting of it" and shit like that in places. Even as a weeb (though not as much as I used to be), I'm almost convinced there's a concerted effort to dump our dumbest and most socially inept off on their little island nation as a form of warfare.

It'd have to be a community watch too; because while there's many characters to mock and ridicule, I don't feel there's enough for specific characters... yet... the future never knows.

I “caught” Adam in a Twitter Live yesterday. Speakers were only Japanese people and they were talking exclusively in Japanese. Adam did not say a single word the entire time, didn’t even make a sound. He was probably on mute and had then on as background noise.

I guess its Ok to listen in to conversations like that to develop a sense for the sound of the language, but it is absolutely impossible he understood a single sentence at his stage of studying the language.

What are two things that are never happening?

Moving to Japan is one thing that will not happen but starting a family? No. Cheebs would wind up with some gaijin hunter, spend all his money on buying her Louis Vuiton shit and taking her to expensive restaurants. Then one day he comes home to find her in bed with another gaijin. Guns are illegal in Japan but you can get them if you know who to talk to. As others have mentioned Shinzo Abe was shot just last year.

And if by some miracle he did breed then he needs to worry about his child being bullied mercilessly and being so stressed out over getting into the right university. Japan has gun control but they also have the concept of "karoshi" where people have literally died due to overwork. He only sees the good sides of Japan and doesn't recognize the seedy underbelly that they really try to keep hidden.
