But what is the reason? If anything, sexual degeneracy is on the rise now in the West. You could have Abby have full frontal sex in TLoU2 but skimmy women (I HOPE they're women) is a problem?

Sexual degeneracy of a certain type is on the rise, yes. SJWs love tranny Abby getting fucked, but are triggered by pretty girls in bikinis like DoA. It's pretty simple, they have their own value system and are imposing it upon society.

Here's a compromise: up the age for the women depicted in the game to counteract any potential allegations of child pornography.

What the fuck are you talking about? Do you see any children on the cover? Granny pussy has rotted your mind.

Given how anime nowadays depicts women as overly sexualized, it's not farfetched to assume that their depictions would carry that assumption.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding the intent of the lack of localization of DOAX Volleyball. I'm speaking for myself that I would have apprehension of the stylization of women depicted with anime.

Perhaps they're triggered because they'll never look like that.

Wikipedia says it doesn't even have an English release. I remember SJWs flipped out about the game upon its original release and localization was cancelled.

Anime game with scantily-clad of-age women on the cover = "LITERAL PEDOPHILIA AND SEXISM REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"
Actual child dressing up in drag and performing in strip clubs for men = "OMG, so stunning and brave!"

To combat the arguably valid sexism charge they could add males, and we can just ignore them. They could also add an age slider to accommodate gerontophiles. Everybody wins!

I mean classic Lara Croft has been beloved by women in addition to men, and both genders agree that it's not because of sexily made design, but her cocky, yet chill personality of being an archeologist and treating it as her sport.

But they always did, there's always some buff-ass Fabio in every game series with big ol' tiddies.

If ever there were a true Dudes Rock game, it'd be Chrono Trigger. The protagonist is an everyday guy who makes friends with three hot human girls around his age, and the three dudes he rocks with are a robot, a frog, and a maō. No human men to get in the way.

Why now is Dead or Alive Xtreme Volleyball haram for Western audiences when nobody paid it any mind 15 or so years ago? Especially when anime now is popular.
There was an outrage in 2003 when it was announced. Even the artist of the song they licensed as the theme was fucking pissed because it was demeaning to women etc.
