I mean one consequence of basically cracking down on anti war protests especially the large ones In St Petersburg and Moscow is Russia's idea of sending the male dissidents to the Frontline has a good chance of backfiring. There is a chance those dissidents survive the war come back/escape into Russia and become terrorists.

I support this theory. Killing a blogger is wasteful and retarded even if you deem it morally acceptable. Killing Prigozhin would be effectively taking out one of their most important commanders, both Ukraine and maybe even Shoigu would want that.

What use would that money be when getting caught would mean that your life is basically over? Being anti-establishment in Russia comes with huge risks, if anyone does it then it's most likely on ideological basis, not for money.
