this is NYC and the jury will be made up of those cat ladies. Trump will be convicted. then appeal all the way up to the supreme court, which will overturn the conviction. the point of this charade is to handicap Trump in 2024.

The problem with those cat ladies on the jury is in any standard trial the defense can basically ask them to throw their case out. But seeing what's happening here I think this will end up being a nothing burger except to the people watching CNN/MSNBC.

A Biden pardon of any crimes the Jan 6ers might have done would have been an intelligent thing.

The problem is Biden would be seen as weak to the extremes on Twitter and it would turn into he's not left enough shit show.
You can't maintain a country when you are constantly trying to appease the trans right left base who are filled to the brim with secret psychos that want to burn down church's and kill authority figures.

Sometimes people are bought to court not really to defend the charges that are minor but to open the door to a more serious matter waiting in the wings. I think these minor charges are bait and a trap being laid out for something else in the pipeline.

Even a conviction on these charges would not bring the demise of Donald J. Trump.

If anything this is being used and dragged out because the Dems want to politically get the Donald. Look these people are coming through the books to find anything I mean anything they can use on him. Even if the charges turn out to be trumped up pun intended, the entire trial is designed to cause as much political rift and division as possible.

So far it looks like the virtue signaling is out in full force in NYC. You can see all the suburban trump supporters getting into it with the leftist performance artists/activists.
I expect some comedy gold to occur, and possible fights to break out between various sides. But I am not expecting anything that won't be comedic and it will be hard to exploit for tragedy ATM.
