The father call and how confusing it was for Chris.
It was probably the first time ever in Chris' life where someone he was directly speaking to didn't treat him like an overly-sensitive child and talked to him like they would anyone else. Chris literally threw out every sympathy card he had to no effect. Trolls, autism, chores, mean teachers, blah blah blah. And Matthew is just like "I don't fucking care. Grow up." Chris could only go silent for a bit and then blurt out something else to try and get sympathy like "I EVEN MOWED THE LAWN" randomly. He seemed absolutely dumbfounded that Matthew wasn't praising him for living with autism and for overcoming all the "trials and tribulations" of his life.
My favorite part of the call is when Matthew brings up how messy Chris' house is. Chris throws his mother under the bus and says the entire thing is her fault and even calls her "lazy" without any irony at all.

When he reacted to Megan's outrage at him drawing and uploading porn of her by telling her that she's naive and should educate herself by watching porn.
Don't forget that he told her that he drew that picture to prevent himself from doing something violent towards her.

Goddamn, even for Chris that was stupid.

Anytime someone says he's gay so he has to overreact to make sure everyone knows that he, Christian Weston Chander, is straight.

Your favorite "Chris reacts weirdly" moments?

Well, his entire life up to this moment is the first thing that comes to mind...
I agree, Chris-Chan's life has been like when a baby just exits the vaginal canal but is shocked by the odd sensations of the new world, just in slow motion. Chris-Chan also provokes this sensory shock in other. In every single piece of content he is just making some horrifically confused face as if he just does not understand something.

Interesting question. I'm going to say no, for the simple reason that Chris hasn't been ignoring opportunities in favour of Sonichu. That would imply that he's working on Sonichu to the exclusion of all else, whereas in fact he is not working on Sonichu at all. His fantasies about turning Sonichu into a multi-million dollar franchise involve other people doing all the hard work while he sits around on a throne dictating vague ideas. When he's had the opportunity to make money off Sonichu, he's inevitably abandoned it as soon as it became hard work.

As to why he obsesses over it, it's his happy place. A fictional world where everyone loves him except for his easily-defeated enemies, he can do whatever he wants and he's a success. If he hadn't come up with Sonichu, he'd probably just be fantasising about hanging out with Sonic.

It just depends on what you think Chris would replace Sonichu with. He views Sonichu as a real achievement and contribution. He has used it as an excuse when called out on his lack of other accomplishments (e.g. a job) or drive to have any.

Take away Sonichu, does he replace it with other attempts at accomplishing things, or with other excuses for not really trying? If it is mostly excuses, which is what I am sure the standard answer here would be, then Sonichu has probably been a positive. Because he feels it is a genuine accomplishment, and he probably feels better about himself than if he were still sticking to his high school and commumity college diplomas as his big acomplishment in life.

Basically, since Chris loves Sonichu, it probably is a net positive.

That is ignoring trolling, of course. Sonichu was a big factor in trolling, and part of what initially attracted trolls to Chris. Does he get trolled as much without Sonichu? Is whatever trolling he gets more or less painful to him? Who knows.

In regards to his reaction to Bluespike, I think at that point he was just sort of shell shocked. But more broadly when Chris is sad he usually just sort of shuts down and retreats inside himself. It might seem like he had a brave face on from the outside, but internally he was ripping himself to shreds.

That being said all of my favorite moments from him seem to involve Bob for some reason. Once the baffled father enters the picture Chris immediately transforms into a scared little boy.

His entire reaction to Sonic Boom has been completely baffling... Like I would understand if he hated the game because of the shitty gameplay or terrible writing but no he focused on the most miniscule thing and he went full tard rage on it.
Also after protesting for like a year and after getting arrested; Chris' last post on the protest facebook group was "eh, whatever, hey anybody know where can I watch the show?" like, just, what?

For me it's still when he first found out about his ED page.

Too many crooks spoil the broth.
For me, it was what he did then - his reaction to a bunch of people laughing at him was to directly give them more ammunition, killing his friendship with Megan for good and ensuring that he'd be Supreme Lolcow from now until the day he dies (July 20th 2019).

By the same token, his response to being accused of wanting to be a woman by Clyde - letting the world know he shits himself. We might not even know about that to this day, had it not been for that completely bizarre reaction.

It's like he doesn't trust his brain, so whenever faced with a problem, he does the opposite of what it tells him.

I've always wondered what Chris video (or series) was the origin of "hm, yeah". Was it one or several?

I have been reading up on the Quickie CWCwiki and I was wondering, does anyone else get extremely grossed out when Chris elaborated on Barb's holy buttocks. My skin is crawling from reading just that small bit of information. I feel even more terrible about the conditions Bob died in, now.

Its amazing how angry people can get at Chris.
Or how angry they can get when people do not view him as a dependent "special person" vulnerable to all the whims of Barb.
