Also the more you can make it like an 80's teen movie/rom com the better. Yes, but he wouldn’t have had the tard pass that was handed to him growing up. The kill list itself in high school probably would have netted him way more than two weeks (or whatever it was) in jail but the judge likely had some pity on an obvious retard. He has likely avoided other serious consequences as a result of his face and body structure as well.

He's been treated with kid gloves his entire life and he's come to expect that no matter what happens. In the end this has warped him with an unnatural expectation that he somehow deserves everything to be handed to him. This is why when it doesn't happen as he's imagined he gets angry and acts like he's somehow being discriminated against and he needs to sue whomever he feels is responsible.

Not only does he expect things to go the way he imagined them, he truly believes everyone else already knows what they're supposed to do, and when they don't do it, it must be out of deliberate malice. The idea that people make their plans without even considering his wishes is a foreign concept to him. AGT is a case in point: He seriously believed that whoever watched his audition would see it, see that he was disabled, and immediately move him to the in-person audition round without a second thought. When that didn't happen, it couldn't possibly be because his act was subpar, and it wouldn't matter if it was, he's disabled so that means he goes to the front of the line, every time, and everyone he encounters should know that!

There used to be a popular saying about Russ in the thread that's sadly gone out of fashion, but I think was a very apt description about Russ: It was that Russ had written a script in his head about how things are supposed to go, then gets confused and upset when other people weren't following that script. Like an ill-tempered director with a Napoleon complex blowing his stack when no one is following his "vision". Except Russ will never have the authority over people or success to be a director.
