I had to deal with a medical event (my self) cargiving/end of life (parent) and then some super duper civil legal shit, that went fucking sideways.

Taking a xanax/ativan once to stop the pressing on your chest or having your lawyer stop the billing clock and hand you a beer and having "calming" buzz for 20 minutes.

Yeah that shit helps in the form of a respite. but then you need to sober up and think through the problems.
