Even his fucking voice makes lambs seem vicious.

Making stupid video mash ups is hardly noteworthy. And picking on fucking Twilight and Glenn Beck? Could you BE more fucking generic? You might as well just label your videos "Great Value" or "Equate."

I could make Glenn Beck mad by merely referring to his apeshit community project as Glennbeckistan. That was SO hard.

@H3LLH4MM3R666
So he (McIntosh) is literally just liberal Jack Thompson?

Johnny Mac didn't learn anything from Anita and her shitty videos.
Of course she did! Anita taught him how to properly chastise straight white men for being straight white men, how to e-beg, and how to steal stuff online!

What do you expect this is the man who denies he grew up rich then starts yammering about remembering his childhood summers at one of his parents summer homes.

It wasn't even that far back. There's a Tweet where he complains about the internet connection on his father's private tropical island.

Looking at how things have shaped up, I'm actually starting to think that it was the other way around, and once Anita didn't need him anymore he got tossed aside like bad salad.

Not that he doesn't deserve it.

Looks like Johnny Boy finally crawled out of Anita's shadow (or vagina - both are dark and cold, so it's hard to tell), and much like his former mistress, is e-begging to so he can tell straight white men how terrible they are for existing.

Too bad there's no woman for him to use as a shield from criticism this time...
He might have had a shot at getting this funded when he was still with Anita. It'd've come off as a skew instead of a desperate attempt not to be forgotten. And that he won't put someone else infront of the camera you can tell he learned his lesson.

I think it was a mutually beneficial relationship for the both of them. She needed him to for his SocJus cred and to write the material for her videos, and he needed a skirt to hide behind to shield him from criticism. I've noticed that around the time she tossed him out like a used maxi pad, she cut back on the quantity of her Tropes videos, they severely shrunk in duration, and the quality (what little there was) dropped off. As evidenced by how Anita parroted Josh's past tweets on her Twitter, he was the ventriloquist and she was the puppet.

Anita got tired of being the dummy, kicked Josh to the curb, and started distancing herself from video games by rushing her way through the last Tropes videos and launching her new "women in history" series. Bitching about the evils of enjoying video games and characters with huge tits were just a launching pad to becoming the next Andrea Dworkin.

tbh I think she's the Joel Osteen of feminism.

The US Military's interest in video games was, indeed, as a training utensil. However, the most successful examples were little more than either cost-saving measures or home study aids.

Little sperging ahead.

Virtual Battlefield Systems
VBS is such a game which was developed into the original Operation Flashpoint, then ArmAs. VBS is played like any other FPS of this type, but possesses higher levels of accuracy in simulation. The point, here, is cost effectiveness. Eventually, all riflemen have to get time at the range. Eventually, all infantrymen conduct war games to apply all classroom theories to real world. Problem there is that MILES (what the US Army uses for laser-tag, essentially) is expensive. Getting troops out into the field is expensive, logistically. At least, it is when compared to getting them to sit around in a LAN center and learn these theories in a virtual space. This is especially true for the US Army National Guard, a reserve force that requires one weekend a month and then 2 weeks in the summer for those who don't know, and they are VBS' primary customer.

This does not replace trips to the range. This does not replace actual real world training. This merely acts as a cost saving measure that provides a degree of convenience for, mostly, reservists.

America's Army
It was a game developed as a recruiting tool, aka recruiting swag.

Literally, that's it. You got a free video game, rated T for Teen, and took it home.

Full Spectrum Warrior
Some of you may remember this being a full priced release. A strategy game in which you controlled a squad-level element of troops which saw some success, commercially. This started out as, surprise surprise, a study tool for squad tactics in MOUT or Military Operations on Urban Terrain. You could take this home and use it to refine how you used a squad in urban areas. At least, that's what the US Army wanted. They found that it was largely extraneous in use as existing simulations and real world teaching proved to be more than adequate.

Marine Doom
This was developed as a modification of Doom, by the USMC, in order to (once again) help teach fireteam tactical theories to troops. Once again, it proved to be largely redundant and was never used for long.

So, by and large, the US Military's interest in soldier simulation is much the same as its interest in flight simulation; it's a cost saving measure and a convenience.

There's not a video game in the world that can desensitize a young man into enjoying the kill. That takes experience. So, when McIntosh or Thompson say it's teaching murder, they're utterly clueless.
