I have a more epic ending in mind for Chris. He's homeless, dehydrated and starving, and one day he stares blankly into the sky, and he sees a vision of Magi-Chan telling him its time to bring on the merge now. Chris reinvigorated by divine(meaning deluded) command, robs a gun store and becomes decked out and ready for battle.

He storms a sonic fan convention and slaughters dozens, and takes hundreds as hostages, preparing to sacrifice them to bring on the merge. The police arrive in force and fight Chris Chan in a great battle lasting seven days and seven nights. Chris is eventually overwhelmed and bleeds out from two dozen gunshot wounds, his last words being "Barby-Chan I'm cummin HOOOOME!" before gracelessly expiring.

I picture such a scenario as less of a shooting incident and more of an ALIE cult situation from the 100. Some ween gets tricked into getting chipped and becoming his first convert and he convinces himself the only way to bring about the merge is to force everybody to get chipped and live in a virtual version of cwcville instead of the city of light, where chris lives in a virtual version of his temple, built entirely out of lego, surrounded by legions of boyfriend free girls his ween minions forced to become part of the merge

IIRC, that's just prison, but more comfortable. The trade off being it's indefinite, and release back into the community is solely at the say so of a review board. From what I've seen - albeit on documentaries - this sort of indefinite detention is worse on the mind.

I don't think that's where Chris has gone however, what he did was disgusting and arguably rape depending on the circumstances, but it's not common for sex offenders to go to these sorts of institutions, usually only reserved for the worst of the worst. People who are active dangers to the wider community - Chris may have bonked his own mum, but he's not an active danger.

In my personal opinion it's very highly likely that Chris is going to couch surf with the few remaining white knights / enablers he has left. Actually I do think it's reasonably possible that he'll try to seek out Sean Walker or Sean Walker will try to reach out to him. MKR too, I think, would probably try to put Chris up or at least help him out. I think it's kind of interesting that he's been out for over a week and there is zero news about his situation unless I'm just not looking in the right places.

The remaining options really are either homelessness, be that on the street, in a shelter or couch surfing or he's in a supported living facility.

However, this begs the question, if he's on the street why hasn't anyone seen him? If he's couch surfing with weens then why hasn't he surfaced yet.

Same with supported living, I doubt Chris could resist getting himself a phone and really how would they stop him. Although, perhaps he just hasn't got the opportunity to get one yet.

I couldn't imagine Chris' lawyer would have pushed for him to be released without any sort of plan, even PC was better than the streets for Chris.
