I don't think JET solicits on the Full Sail campus and even if they do unless he goes for a 4 year degree program and Japan accepts it, he's not going anywhere. There is a 95% chance his plan is to obtain his diploma mill degree in video game design (a field he will never pursue), apply for the JET program, find a virginal nip wife in the inaka village he gets placed in, and spend the rest of his days as the local Charisma Man who is always waiting for the next seasonal matsuri where he gets a socially acceptable chance to wear a yukata. And hopefully his future wife never discovers that he used to call himself "chibi."
But I still want to see him try because the fallout from it would be glorious. Not only trying to navigate Japan without the use of a translator but his attempt to get his visa to stay there while still walking around looking like a tool.
And yes, if by some miracle he does wind up on the JET program he'll be placed where they need him so I'm hoping for some place far off from Tokyo where there's no English signage and everybody will stare at the gaijin walking about whether he's dressed in costume or not.
They've recently changed it so there's no age limit. But it is very competitive and they judge you based on attitude, eagerness and the ability to adapt to a different culture.I'd say Chibi is SOL on doing the JET program because there's an age cutoff but then again the 10k autism tour still took him and that too had a age cutoff.
Even then I don't see him getting in. He's too much of a spaz.
