I've been informed that she's conducting massive damage control on the Patreon, but since we can't actively see that, I have no way of backing that up.

I do know from her other platforms that she's barely paying attention to them, hoping they'll shut up and fuck off, but fact is, Wu's been sliding downhill a while and more and more of her supporters have been turning off to her for months. Hell that overly-inflated Patreon of hers says it all.

So long as the backers keep making noise, they're something that directly contradicts her "game dev" angle, and as @Francis York Morgan once so eloquently stated, nothing pisses Brianna Wu off like contradicting her. I have the feeling more chimp-outs are in order after the glorious one she had 2 weeks ago.

Actually, we do have some small evidence of Brianna damage control on Patreon. She's been deleting unfavorable comments from Patreon people who are asking such troubling questions as "what games are you currently making?" or "what are you even doing with the money you make from this?".

Wu wasn't just carried, she was an active hindrance, completely unable to damage the enemies and barely able to do anything. Level controls pretty much all of the damage algorithms in the game; too low and you can't even harm the enemies and will see their level as "??".

The Vault of Glass, baseline, is for level 27-28 characters, with level 29s-30s being able to handle it way easier (often after their own runs). It's easy for 31+ as of House of Wolves. Several in FMC were level cap for the time (not hard in HOW).

I cannot stress, in mere words, just how fucking insane Wu was being brought to an area she couldn't run.

A bit late here but it really depends, vitriol rage boxes are just as harmful. Still, it's easy to see who has legit advice and who just wants to grind an axe. Usually it's in the form of seeing if they actually offer specific advice rather than a rant.

OF COURSE Wu is against "callout culture". He got thrown under the bus when he dared to have coffee with Brad Wardell (who is on the SJW shitlist).

However, he's only against it when it's used against him. Otherwise, Wu is lining up with the rest of the Tumblrinas to get their pound of flesh.
