My main theory is a combo of "start of the month medicine binging" and "sickness keeping her in bed 24/7 instead of 20/7." I actually checked her local news last night after wondering if something big happened. No storms and Polissa and Joh aren't on the news, so I'm still leaning on that theory.
Polissa shared a TikTok on Facebook a few hours ago. This has been her only (posted) internet activity in a week. I figure that if she posts a TikTok tonight, we're getting her lecturing at Republicans again.

Anyway, I'm curious as to the reason for her absence. She now has power at her house. Maybe the tornado ripped the plyboard from the side of her house and the tarp from the roof and she's dealing with that? Maybe she's on "meds" and leaving social media alone. Unlikely since we know she gets gibs at the first of the month and now since it's the middle she historically is now out of gimmies. Poor baby. I suspect we'll be hearing from her soon.

If I remember correctly, she was gone for roughly a week and a half, or even two weeks, after it happened. She's been gone for that period of time a couple times. Just not recently.
It's a funny idea. Although Polissa would've let the world know that her roof or the house was destroyed from one of the recent storms, if that was the case. She was mad enough not having power when everything else was intact. There was also that time where she ranted about her mailbox getting hit and was still lying on the ground days/weeks later because no one bothered to try to pick it up.
She often disappears for a spell during the first week or so in the month as well. This hiatus is on the higher end, but it's still within a "normal" time period for her. Given what she posted on Facebook today, we know that she's watching TikTok. She's just not making any of her own.
Which reminds me-- Jimmy Dean Bowls jumped fifty cents in price at one of my local supermarkets. My Walmart prices tend to be similar to Polly's, so they've likely increased in price for her as well. Polissa's going to be pissed.

The potatoes that look like the Jimmy Dean ones are so ridiculously easy. You cut up the Yukon Golds, toss them in olive oil and seasoning, and roast them. In ten minutes of prep you can have enough potatoes to feed a whole gang. No parboiling required. If you want to be extra lazy, get the pre-cut frozen no-name brand and roast those.
