Resident Evil - Virgin Vampire Wine Mom vs Chad Magnetic Lebowski

There's a line added in the remake where Ashley says she aspires to be a Secret Service agent like Leon so this could actually happen assuming it's not just a throwaway line.
God no can we just have sherry birkin, at the very least she heals if you shank her. God knows what happens to ashley if she gets shanked.

Rev 2 wasn't terrible. It's just it's monster design, like Rev 1 was dogshit.

I wonder if they'll ever even return to the outcome of the ending of Rev 2 since there's still a Wesker out there.

I bought all Rev 2 episodes for Raid mode. Don't think I played the campaign beyond episode 1, lol
Let me think, story, story... uh they all are infected on an island... Kafka quote at the beginning... Barry saves his daughter like Harry Mason... Wesker's sister (?) is the bad guy.

Oh yea, the good ending involves Barry's daughter getting over her fear of guns.

Oh god. They're using the same ugly model of Claire from the last film. They finally unite the protagonists of the first two games and it's complete schlock.

I finished a few playthroughs of the remake. I rather enjoyed the game for the most part. Kinda bummed at some of the stuff that was cut. Very disappointed in the handcannon. I always like playing through a game with the bonus weapons just to fucking destroy everything for fun... But, good God, the handcannon is inaccurate as fuck, even in assisted mode. I get that the shrinking reticle means more accurate, but I'll wait for a Salvador to be just within blade's reach with the reticle as small as possible, and the shot still goes Ray Finkle (wide right!). I will say that it's amusing watching it just completely tear enemies in half when a shot DOES hit.

I've got most of the challenges completed, and will probably have the them done in another playthrough or two. The one that's given me the most fits is the "no healing" challenge. Fucking random stick of dynamite shows up out of the blue while I'm finishing a melee attack and just shits in my cheerios.

Looks like absolute dogshit like all RE films regardless if they are animated or live action.

Yeah the handcannon is dogshit in this. The original kicked like a mule too, but you had a laser on it and it could zero in on a target immediately. This one just feels awful to shoot and shouldn't be the ultimate weapon. I was hoping they would add a Deagle in this as a throwback to RE 3.5 prototype.

These movies are all fucking terrible. Jill using her RE3make design also makes no fucking sense.

Played it and finished it on hardcore
Never really had a problem outside of the dogshit 2 garrador room and the defend ashley section in water room
7/10, remake was fine outside of the dogshit voice acting, krauser, luis and saddler are fine, the rest range from terrible to ada

I think Leon is alright, and it’s fucking hilarious that Krauser is now pretty much Spec Ops Vergil.

Im still split on krauser
The original was an over the top saturday morning cartoon villain that broke bad due to his arm injury and because apparently wesker health care was the shit
Nu krauser is just vergil with a bow, and his arm injury isn't even a factor in his decision to joining the cult, he just randomly decides that LAS PLAGAS ARE KANG

I've come to like Nu Krauser. They didn't completely fucking wreck him like they did Nikolai with his celery stalk head and even shittier Russian cartoon portrayal.

To be fair, nu Krauser is completely justified by Leon giving him shit for trading in his humanity for a glorified knife.

That also depends on what Operation Javier was. I'm not familiar with any of its previous depictions or mentions, but from what we see in the Remake I'm guessing it was "Predator, but with ungodly bio-horrors" and only Leon and Krauser made it out alive. Krauser who naturally was already close to the edge because he wouldn't be a Special Forces stereotype if he wasn't, gets PTSD from seeing his entire team eaten or worse, goes batshit and decides to become the horrific murder-creature no matter the cost.

Which is exactly the sort of dumb, campy plot you'd expect from Resident Evil.

From what I understand, Javier was originally an operation he took with Leon that ultimately cost Krauser his arm, and his career. He became infatuated with the effects of...something (not sure if it was a Plaga or virus derivative), and ultimately signed on with Wesker.

"New" Javier was some sort of anti-Thing operation (cartels, I think?). It didn't involve Leon, but Krauser lost all his men due to political fuckery preventing an extraction. He independently went off the deep end, but there's no indication he's working with Wesker this time around, and is a legitimately respected member of Los Illuminados.

Na, the reporter's story was incomplete with him assuming political infighting was the reason they weren't extracted. In reality the cartels were massing an army of B.O.W. to use against Communists operating in the area (who were probably also their competition in the drug trade because that's how South American Communists roll), and Leon, Krauser, and the rest of their special unit was sent in to eliminate them all. Naturally most of them get killed because BOW's are even nastier and more merciless than sicarios. Krauser even calls out everyone being killed during the knife fight as the reason why he went evil. To him good and evil, human and inhuman don't matter when its kill or be killed.
