All the cheesy shit going on around the Paks expansion (being it not publicly tendered but awarded - as is the custom with every investment in hungary: "publicly" tendered to certain vassals), and still this is the single most sensible move from the Orbán govt. IDK why every opposition party is against nuclear..

They are against it because Orbán is for it. That is the only reasoning they have.

They flip flopped through Covid with such a hilarious performance that was roughy like this:

From what I can gather, the Rosatom contract had to be updated for the faggots in Brussels, so just rewriting verbiage.

Yeah no, there's too much stupidity and willful ignorance going on in that thread for me to follow it even semi-consistently. Anything that isn't 100% Ukie and NATO dick riding is neg rated and shouted down and just a lot of the things they say don't make sense or are inaccurate in general. Don't get me wrong there's a tonne of cope here too, but at least here it follows some trail of logic, like i can see how people can come to that conclusion, over there it's just...dumb.

They also seems to post gore a lot, which is weird. If it's gore of ukies they cry about it and keep going on about russian war crimes but if it's gore of russians they cheer it on like it's the best thing since sliced bread. Odd people.

Yeah I do try to keep tabs on them because I consider it important to not ignore information and facts just because I disagree with them, but they seem obsessed with political talking points and emotional bullshit. Like "here's a video of Ukrainians bombing a Russian tank the ukiea are totally going to win"
They're not interested in any of the day to day movements of the war or any analysis, and I suspect that if I took the time to trawl that thread's history I would see their opinions on key issues flip flop multiple times with no explanation.
The whole thing is rather interesting, like they are extremely confident that their perspective on the war is clear and perfect, and there's that quotable "fortress or truth" which I'm not confident was just trying to be funny.
A lot of what seems to be posted on the thread seems more to be entertainment and reinforcing preexisting opinions, instead of trying to keep track of how the war is going.

Perhaps more pragmatically, bringing them up serve not much purpose other than inviting unnecessary slapfights. By all means, do your necessary dilligence; but otherwise I think the other thread's kantent doesn't really interest most of the regulars here.
