i am willing to bet that "as defined in 1-1 201" covers intersex conditions and nonstandard karyotypes within the binary of sex. further i would be willing to bet tony knows this, but doesn't care because it fits his grift.

I just did a bit of an experiment. It has been nearly 2 years since Tony mentioned seeing a therapist. Is there a correlation between his descent into madness and the apparent cessation of actual mental health treatment?
I did the same experiment with Eli Erlick (5 years) and Big Al (1 Year). Seems to be a pattern. Troon out and stop the treatment modality that actually works.

That's one of the best requirements I ever heard. Of course autistics and depressed people aren't going to like it, they want a cure NOW NOW NOW, but not everything takes pills, some take time. It's the best pro-mental health pro-transitoner SAFETY requirement I ever heard so far. This means less detransitioners to speak against Erin Reed, how could he not be excited when there's going to be more people for sure happy and less unhappy?

The only reason some troons visit their psychs after transitioning is purely to get more medical coverage of procedures. They're cured of bad feelings, not having a friend group, and not having people listen to them. Why do they need therapy? They have friends, a strong religious core, and are totally going to get laid once we bust down the gender barriers of society enough.
It's watching narcissists and other people who think they know better than the doctor jump ship because all the "sad" is supposedly gone. They won't go back for a long while, not unless someone else in the cult convinces them.

Even if such a glaring omission actually existed and that it actually survived all readings, amendments, and votes (stranger things have happened), abusing any child would still be a crime. For about 100 reasons but here's 1 reason:
Courts have to figure out apparent gaps in legislation all the time. Law isn't just "muh what do the words literally mean" - that's semantics, not law. It's called statutory interpretation and it is routine, everyday shit.
There is an interesting legal principle applicable to interpreting criminal statutes in particular. Consistent with the principle that a crime must be proven beyond a reasonable doubt, the old 'Rule of Lenity' states that when resolving uncertain language in a criminal statute, the Court should resolve it in favor of the defendant.
But this doesn't mean a defendant can just find any semantic loophole in the statute and then he gets off on a technicality. Of course not. That would make it impossible to convict anybody. Crimes are messy and it would be ridiculously hard to write rules for every imaginable scenario.
