Started looking here again about Brian to see if there was anything new, basically been nothing since your post here. Someone attempted to make a thread on him but it disappointingly went nowhere because it was absolute shit. Just learned from another reptile youtuber talking about it that Barczyk is dying of pancreatic cancer, asking people to donate for the shitheads treatment even though he has a veritable mini empire to sell off. Brian's last couple videos appear to be talking about this but I don't really even want to give him views. I feel for the guys family but him? No. From the sounds of it it seems to be inoperable if he's not fluffing it up. Guy has a long history of overexaggerating anyway, but people have noted his health appears to be declining.

I know it's mainly dogs being discussed here but I seriously hope to Christ they don't continue with the slammed & smashed cat I saw a few pages ago.

There’s nothing sadistic about humanely euthanizing an animal that will bring nothing but pain to other living creatures, rather, it’s morally just to do so. These dogs live lives of utter hell where bitches are bred until they have complete uterine prolapse and males are pitted against each other in blood sport. Those that get adopted out see anything weaker as a target. The only legitimate usage for them is feral hog control, and that’s a dubious reason at best. They would literally be better off not existing. Considering that most of the genetic monstrosities on display here are pitbulls I’d say it’s quite relevant.

What is the positive of keeping on breeding dogs that are the single most violent breed, completely unregulated thus kept by shitheel owners? I'm not one of those that *actually* thinks trying to egg the government to euthanize an entire breed of dogs is a good idea, for one they'll run with that power but in a better world there would be some sort of limit on who can get breeds like this just like not everyone can just buy a tiger and have it maul them in their house.

It would be different if pit breeders stepped up trying to breed gameness out of these dogs but the chances of an individual dog turning is Russian roulette. I've seen a pit go his entire life (11 years) being the most mellow thing I've ever seen. And then there's the family pits being cared and pampered for 8 years killing the family's young children. Dogs showing their colors this early is pretty much a blessing.

My personal opinion is this: if a pit is aggressive towards other dogs, it's the owner's responsibility to minimize its interactions with dogs. If they can't do that, it is then their job to either find someone who can or take it to a shelter. If it's people aggressive, it needs to be put down.

The difference is that if your spider escapes it’s probably just going to live under your bed and at worst bite and kill you. If a pitbull escapes a kid or small animal is going to get mauled. There’s a reason we rarely hear about dangerous herps or insects escaping and killing people.

Yeahhhh that’s a “velvet big rope” from China. It’s basically Island of Dr Moreau over there with dogs. There was a video I came across awhile ago of a female “velvet big rope” that was somehow worse than this dog, I’m not sure if she could even stand but her wrinkles covered her entire eyes, nose, she was pretty much looked like a melting pile of flesh.

Most of these arguments about what shitbull owners should or shouldn't do are pointless because good owners already follow them. And guess what? The worst, most hideously unfit, antisocial fucking trash gravitate towards pit bulls precisely because they're considered badass and aggressive. So despite "it's not the dog, it's the owner" being semi true, we have to take into account that bad owners still exist and their dogs' harm towards innocent victims won't just go away because a handful of decent people happen to be able to contain these hideous things slightly more responsibly.
