Can go either way. It's like they used to say about any particular placebo-type treatment regimes: "a third get better, a third get worse and a third stay exactly the same."

But I don't believe there's been a significant shift in who Nick really is at all. The only difference is that he's started to show us who he really is rather than concealing it with an on-line persona as some kind of tradcon dad.

Listen to Nick and his best friend Drex. They'll tell you that Nick is just being who he's always been. I think he was pretty skilled at hiding it, because he has wealthy conservative parents that he depended on for the bulk of his income. They paid for his schooling, they paid for his houses, they paid for him to establish a law firm. They supported him for the totality of his adult life, until just a year or two ago. If he showed that side of himself that they might disapprove of, chances are, they'd turn off the cash spigot. Better keep it on the downlow.

But now Nick's making the big YouTube money, he can openly be the man he's always really been. I think Nick is generally "known about" on KF for the reasons you just said. What's interesting though is, over the years, I noticed he was generally loved by Weeb Wars, but not so much outside of WW. Even as far back as 2019. Outside of WW the opinion seemed to veer more towards him being a shyster and grifter who was frequently wrong with his legal analysis and predictions.

You also got that impression from watching the MATI chat. Again, years before he started to fall hard from grace. Null might still have a soft spot for him, but I'm not sure the same can be said about most of his audience.

I would say that it has been more of a revelation of who he was beneath the veneer of respectability. In my opinion, he has already stepped back from the brink of total faggotry 'Fuck you prude incel faggot if you don't like my 3 hour talk about Balldos!', but even that seems calculated. He crossed a Rubicon with that behaviour and no matter how much he might want to, there is no going back.

Funny thing is that even after the Balldogeddon, if he hadn't clearly and specifically told us to fuck off, I might have tuned out of his content in December and back in March or so, and kept watching shows that interest me.

If it were possible to predict when and where serendipity would strike, that would be a hell of a business to get in.

I think the prognosis is bleak, though. His trajectory isn’t good, it’s not likely to change for the better from doubling down, and he hasn’t maintained anything that looks like a plan to fall back on lawyering as a contingency.

If Nick was a listed stock, I’d say sell it all and never look back. Also, I say that with no malice in any way, shape or form, as objectively as I can be.
