If I was in Putin's place I would start a op to try and capture some NATO SpecOps people in Ukraine that are fighting the Russian army and then drag them to Moscow to get paraded in front of cameras to show off how the war has become NATO v. Russia.

Can you imagine the sheer disaster of PR of Putin having a SOCOM or SAS caught in the act on the field in Ukraine under command of NATO and not some "mercenary" or "volunteer" shit?

From your lips to God's ears, lets hope this happens.

Seems like a plan, though wouldn't he already have a few corpses lying around that don't look too slavic? Though I imagine they are easily deflected as "mercenaries". Though even if he gets a green beret and gets him to sing on camera I can already see the deflection of "he was paid to lie" or some other shit.

Corpses are pretty easy to fake. You can find a Anglo or Teuton white middle age fit body with some ease to fake it if you have the resources of a nation. Especially since it could be torn up from battle damage, and it would be hard to tie it back to actual Spec Ops. And since such Spec Ops people are constantly out on mission and on communication blackouts it would be easy to claim Putin is just using a prop to pretend some dude who is "actually on a mission somewhere else" was killed in Ukraine.

American and NATO troops are likely safely in Kiev and Western Ukraine. Ensconced in bunkers and heavily defended government buildings. They likely aren't going to be anywhere where capture was a likely risk.
nor do they need to be. the Ukrainians have close to a million troops in the field. since 2014 there has been a deep hatred for russians sizzling in the back of many Ukrainian minds.

How exactly did he put "american troop lives in danger" with Ukraine war reports? Oh that is right the docs show that the Government and NATO puppet media are full of shit and we do have troops on the ground there.

I feel sorry for so many DeSantis fans. I have seen a lot of somewhat decent people falling for the NeoCon bait that is using him to try and get them away from Trump, she like this shows the real game going on.

This is gonna sound fedposty and I’m sorry, but here goes:

Question 1) If the Boog (TM) ever happens, is there any point/value to leaving anyone other than the janitorial staffs of the various alphabet agencies, Federal departments, and Congresscritters alive?

Question 2) Following a ‘no’ answer to Q1, how in the fuck do we prevent the new bureaucracy from pulling this exact same shit again in 50 years’ time?

Question 2a) Following a ‘yes’ answer to Q1, what can be done to break the power of the bureaucrat class in Washington and render it once again answerable to the appropriate elected officials, short of ripping it out by the roots and salting the earth from which it sprang?

Permanent bureaucracy has been a disaster for every country and the human race.

Not answering Q1 because it glows like fucking Chernobyl, but to answer this:
The Tree of Liberty must at times be watered by the blood of patriots and tyrants.

That is to say, you might not be able to prevent it in 50 years time because people forget things. The reason that a revolution might lead to a period of stability afterward (and that’s a heavy “might”) is because the people involved in the revolution saw what happened to the corrupt politicians and three letter agencies, and don’t want it to happen to them too.

Their grandchildren though, will not have seen the corruption, or the revolution, and so will not be as careful to prevent the causes of said corruption and revolution.

A good example is the current fascination with fascism and communism that you see in millennials and Gen Z. The boomers wouldn’t touch it with a 30 foot pole because most of them either saw the actual effects of fascism and communism, or saw the after-effects and spoke with people who were directly affected.

Younger people didn’t have those direct experiences and so are now curiously investigating the very ideas that led to the deaths of millions, completely ignorant of how things led to the points they did.

I think it’s the same with the cyclical nature of revolutions. A country or system becomes terminally corrupt, it is overthrown, there is a period of unrest, then stability, and when the people who created the new system are dead and gone, the old system is forgotten, it’s flaws are forgotten, and the new system starts to decay.

So to answer your question, you need to make whatever you do extremely memorable, and extremely unpleasant for whoever would take their place if they would also become corrupt.

That’s why I liked January 6th so much. Not for the retarded protest, but because for the first time in their useless lives, our “elected” officials felt the fear of their constituents that they should have always felt from day one. Seeing them scurry with plastic bags over their heads and lay down under their chairs brought a delicious catharsis.

Q1 - It's super complicated. You have good points on both the "forgive and forget" camp and on the "let God sort them out" camp.

As for Q2, both A and B have the same answer: the main way to ensure shit doesn't just repeat is pretty much to just do what the Founding Fathers intended. The system they set in place was very good and robust, it avoided falling into the downward spiral of corruption we see now for over a century before you had the rot really take root and even then it only really got terminal once the 2 century mark was reached. And in that time not only was the USA surprisingly stable (One civil war only in 200 years, compare to Europe or Asian) but it managed to achieve a level of development and wealth literally never seen before in human history.

Compare this with the French or Russian revolutions where they didn't even make it to the end of the first years before the system started to eat itself in corruption and ideological insanity.
