The owner must have an Aussie hard-on as he has a vanity license plate stating "DINGO 1" in his office and offered silly plastic boomerangs as freebies at the door. He did give me the name and e-mail address of the guy who painted his building, though I don't feel like pushing this further.

Meh. If thats his schtick and it helps him get business then who cares? Lots of people use this schtick with non furry stuff.

I remember seeing a guy do an ad when I was living in Texas. It was for Steakley Chevrolet. Basically a cowboy with a rifle saying they were out to bring high prices to justice. There was a car with a price sticker on the window, and he'd say, "$6500 dollars?! Wrong! Bring it down, slim!" and then the image would cut to a shattering car window (and gunshot sound effect), implying that he shot the window out of the car. The window shattered, but you never saw the gun go off, so I suspect it was just a prop window or special effect, maybe a junker car used as a stand-in. Of course, it was Texas, so he probably had a bunch of cars for sale with blasted out windows, who knows. Have to admit, that was like back in the 80's, and I still recall the Steakley Chevrolet car dealership, so good schtick definitely works.

A Ford dealership down the street from my house used to shatter car windows with sledgehammers as their gimmick.

Speaking of odd gimmicks, lots of lawyers like to use furries as their mascot/gimmick, usually something like a tough looking bulldog, or a patriotic eagle. Every now and then you might see a lion or a shark.
But law firm mascots are usually hilarious or cringey... or both.

Notice how most of them are big, strong animals for the big strong lawyers. Basically they're saying that you gon' git got.

I'm loving that Dobson-esque bulldog there though. So maybe not all of these are big, tough animals.

Often this guy shows up in countless high schools across the country. Heck most of Blair's creativity is often copied for the sake of last-minute deadlines or by uncreative hacks simply needing a paycheck.

Both kangaroos and thylacines (Tasmanian tigers) are far cooler than dingos in the Aussie animal department IMO.

Back on topic, that shit would be more appropriate if he was running a souvenir shop in Australia.
