I'm still hung up on what they think a period is. In a normal human woman it's the uterus building a liner for any fertilized eggs to latch on to then flushing it once a month to replace, but troons don't have that. The more plausible explanation with what passes as anatomy for them is that they have ripped stitches and an open wound that is not healing. Presumably they don't feel the pain because the nerves have been cut and they are on painkillers, but they are still very vulnerable to infections and necrosis.

They first tried "urban scouting" in the 80s which didn't work and this is a way for them to try and leech numbers from Girl Scouts, which is also falling. There are two factions within Girl Scouts right now, the women and girls who want to do scouting things and the cookie merchants. BSA is hoping to get the former. Now, I will concede that this also conveniently answers the "trans in scouts" question by sidestepping it entirely and allowing everyone. I'm also required to state that everyone's scouting experience is different and it depends entirely on your local troop and not the governing body.
