Mario Bros. Set to Jump to Big Screen in Movie Deal with Universal’s Illumination - Paging Movie Bob, Paging Movie Bob...

Based on your two posts in this thread I'm going to guess you're unreasonably angry about this movie for some reason, I'm really curious what it is. And don't give me that "I don't care" shit because if you didn't care you wouldn't be waiting for somebody else to dislike the movie for you to latch onto.

This movie is so absolutely toothless and unremarkable in every way but fanservice I cannot imagine what could possibly get somebody incensed over it.
Sorry, I didn't know saying a bad film is bad was against the rules.

The next movie will also be pretty simple. Probably something like Wario invades because he wants to steal all the treasure in Peach's castle. They need to get help from another Kingdom, so we can get Daisy in there. Then Waluigi starts going after her, so Luigi has to learn to stand on his own two feet to save her. Throw in some backstory about Peach and Daisy being lost kids from Brooklyn, and there you go.
I rather it be something like the Mario land 2 comic, where Wario just steals the castle because he is still angry at Mario for being an asshole when they were kids lol.

But who will voice as Daisy?

My bet is Mila Kunis as Daisy btw

In what universe does Miyamoto need to be hands on with a game in order for him to not like them or to think they're too story oriented? The fact that he hasn't even have a hand in Paper Mario in damn near two decades speaks more to what I said than anything else...
Because Miyamoto isn't breathing on the necks of Intelligent Systems. It's clear hear you hear one thing and think you know the whole thing. Miyamoto hasn't been a direct producer in a long time. He hasn't been directly helping with Paper Mario in 2 decades because he's involved in practically every Nintendo released product. Miyamoto wasn't even involved in most of the Donkey Kong Country games, yet the movie had lots of elements from those games.

You want to blame someone for Paper Mario's state, look at the actual producer, Tanabe.

Literally none of this has anything to do with what I said.

There's almost no elements of Donkey Kong Country games in the Mario movie outside of characters making a cameo. Cranky and Donkey do not act like their DKC characters at all.

You're never getting a SMRPG/Paper Mario movie. Deal with it.

Despite Diddy and Dixie's obvious cameo appearances, I still think they should appear as supporting characters in the sequel or the DK spinoff movie.

But yes, I don't want a SMRPG/Paper Mario movie. It's a bad idea.

How does any Mario thread on the internet degrade into why Geno isn’t involved?

Guys, Geno is a minor character from a spin-off game from 1996. Nintendo doesn’t care about him. Nintendo never cared about him. He’s never coming back. Let him be an artifact of his time, like VHS and MS-DOS.

Even Smash Bros. were clambering for Geno to be in Ultimate a lot of times, but people have forgotten that Geno wasn't really that big in his sole appearance of a single Mario RPG game.

Resident Evil and Tomb Raider fags still on suicide watch rn
Hell, more importantly, Disney-fags are on suicide watch right now. Turns out when you make a movie that families can actually enjoy as an inoffensive, fun time and not

Mandatory Sexual Orientation/Minority Studies Session #2834935588009, those same families will actually spread good word-of-mouth to other families and they'll go out to see it in droves! Who'da thunk?

It helps when people 3 to 70 something know who Mario and Nintendo are. I don't think it would have made this much money 20 years ago.

Especially if it was a live-action movie from the early-90s with Hoskins, Leguizamo and Hopper that's been plagued with troubled production that it couldn't even make its money back. Speaking of...

Even John Leguizamo is on suicide watch finding out the realization that the new Mario movie that's now the highest grossing video game movie has an Italian family than a Central American family, like he always wanted.
