I’ve said it before, the people this fag livestreams to are his biggest enablers. He also makes mention that it has been a while since anyone has heard from him… but he’s been making cameo appearances in other people’s streams, Discord servers, etc.

Again, one of the first things you learn in rehabilitation for substance abuse is to identify the people who drive you to use, and to distance yourself from them. So obviously the first thing Lucas does is announce his grand return to streaming.

He's clearly doing these cameos as some sort of hype campaign. I'm also pretty sure the streams he is entering are of streamers who had a shared audience with him. When he was rationing people on Twitter, I remember him entering Hasan's chat and asking them to help him out.

As long as his audience keeps buying his grifts and giving him money, this is definitely going to be his go to source for income, especially because of how low effort it is on his end. God forbid the former commie works an actual job.

When I made this comment I was under the impression that Keffals did not have any more online presence but it seems unfortunately that is not the case. I doubt he'll be clean forever because he's still streaming to the people that enable his dirty, degenerate way of life..

So if it's like a typical rehab "arc" stateside he's likely still in a PHP (Partial Hospitalization Plan) or IOP (Intensive outpatient program) type deal. Knowing how he has been about work and effort, he's likely taking the excuse of being busy with that to shirk his obligations.

Good news is the "what had happened to me" passive voice gives away the most important part, he still couches it as an external locus of control. This spells doom for most addicts trying to get clean, most therapists try to get patients to recognize and move past this, and it's kind of hilarious to see him so casually say that after supposedly completing the program.

One prevailing theory among addiction treatment places is that many addicts will readily substitute on vice for another when forced. Coincidentally many addiction places will also help with food addiction. A major component of this is low-sugar/sugar-free meal plans. Easy way to lose some weight over your stay but does nothing to instill habits to make that permanent weight loss.

Depending on the place haircuts are probably infrequent and ludicrously expensive. Thankfully those places try to emphasize hygiene. I imagine Keffals stank is particularly bad in somewhere he's "safe" like rehab if he had any choice in the matter. I'd feel bad for his group being exposed to that.

I wonder if he was a truly good boi and kicked the nicotine habit too? That's the one solace nobody fights with. I'd kill to be a fly on the wall hearing the bpd whores roasting him over ciggies. Edit:

"Rehab" is a bit of a catch-all and requires more factors than the substance to get a concrete timeline. There might be emergent care/detox that can take up to a couple weeks. I don't think Lucas needed that. Once you're in a program proper 21 days is really the absolute shortest you can swing while "completing" it. This is conveniently because it gives them the wiggle room to find placement before 30 days in-treatment, the shorter limits that cheaper insurance covers.

45 days is really when they'll know if it's working or not and insurance might decide you're "good enough" to send on down the line. Even blue-chip insurance stops coverage after 90 days so they make significant efforts to shuffle patients off by then. Failing at PHP/IOP and bouncing back starts the clock over, so even if you fail, they win (financially). The uber-rich may get longer than that as needed but that concierge care is a whole other kettle of fish.
(I get Keffals is in Canada but the American place I am familiar with had quite the number of patients in on Canada's dime, so they have pretty much equivalents)

I've seen 2 general results from people that come out of drug rehab. They either actually get better or the most common result, they learn from other addicts about hiding their addiction while still achieving as good or better highs. I literally knew a guy who came out and suddenly started using random plumbing parts to make devices to get high because he learned how to do it from rehab.
