I hate when I have to talk to other people at my workplace. Typically, this is people who work for other departments at the same agency. They're nice people, but I realize I must walk on eggshells when I talk to them because they're the sort of people who are prone to getting offended easily and often. Thus, if I must talk to them, I just keep it as small talk on generalized topics. I've starting bringing books and have tried finding other places to enjoy my lunch at in the same building because I don't want to bother with these boring conversations anymore.
