ContraPoints / William Nicholas Parrott / Natalie Wynn Parrott / Nykytyne2 - GamerGhazi Cannibalism Victim, Youtube "Intellectual"

It's weird that I'm saying this but Contrapoints seems liberal and sane compared to the current crop of breadtubers/progressive. Aside from the trans lunacy, I doubt he's ever given a take you wouldn't hear from the likes of Sam Seder of Kyle Kulinski.

Obviously, you'd have to wade through 2/3rds of these long ass fucking videos where he's an unrepentant autogynophiliac playing dress up to wring out the politically liberal commentary like a damp washcloth which I don't recommend but it's there.
That's why I'm not particularly charitable towards him, he could give credence to more sane political views on his channel, but instead he's like "anyone who doesn't like extremist trans politics is a secret bigot who wants to kill you".

Polite Conversations With Eiynah Episode 27: Islamaphobia with ContraPoints
Vintage ContraPoints podcast appearance
So Eiynah is an immigrant from Saudi Arabia who had her own podcast and still pretty active on Twitter @nicemangoes. In early 2017, she invited ContraPoints to discuss his channel, politics, and crossdressing on her podcast.
The first 3/4 of the episode is pretty boring but some things that stand out are
a) "Homo- white nationalism" - the political belief that believes Western nations are superior to Third World nations because Hwoits are more accepting of homosexuality
b) The hypocrisy of MRAs who tell women how much freedom and how many rights they have in the West as opposed to the women in Third World countries who experience violence and oppression. (Apparently MRAs want women to remain oppressed so they gaslight women into believing they have so many rights in comparison to Africa and Asia.) "They appeal to values that they know you hold to oppose you and confuse you" -- Parrott, 2017
c) Eiynah laments that she is so tired from "fighting every side," because as a brown liberal female feminist, she gets opposition from conservatives; but she still regularly gets called racist and transphobic by the left because the left is more willing to attack people they know they actually have power over.
d) Parrott discusses "token diversity" characters like Milo Yiannopoulos and gets especially excited when talking about how terrible Blaire White is and how White is "the trans Milo Yiannopoulos."
e) Eiynah discusses Parrot’s costumes in his videos. This is right before his video What The Alt Right Fears was in production. Eiynah suggested he wear a hijab. Parrot thought he would get what the 2017 internet would call “cancelled.”

In the beginning of the second half, Parrott shared his background and the half PhD he earned. We also learn that his most recent cancellation had been a tweet whereupon he called himself a “mangirl” and was now being accused of transphobia.

Oh, does anyone else remember “call out” culture before cancel culture? This was another topic they touched upon.
But for the majority of the episode, Parrott and Eiynah complained about woke politics, and Eiynah expressed that she hated the new terms “birth giver” and “birthing person” (this aged well) because it felt degrading as a woman (oh how the tables have turned).

For the final quarter of the podcast, the two discuss Parrott's crossdressing and BDSM. Some thoughts to take away.
1. There are a lot of straight men who crossdress
2. Parrott admitted he didn't start crossdressing until his twenties when his girlfriends began putting him in their dresses and makeup
3. He was surprised that he liked it and wondered why he hadn't crossdressed sooner
4. Parrott identified as a "cishet male" but also admitted he didn't have a strong sense of "gender identity" (who can relate?) and it was more just "living as a man."
5. He didn't dress "as a woman." He dressed in a subversive way in clothes and fashion men aren't allowed to wear
- He also said he thought he looked better in women's clothes because of how gracile he was, and that he got lost in men's clothing. This is noteworthy and proves for the millionth time that William Nicholas Parrott did not have gender dysphoria. He was comfortable with his body and enjoyed "gender fuckery," as he called it.

Eiynah (she is totally attracted to him) said that her preferred type was less masculine artistic guys, and she told him that wearing dresses and makeup shows that Parrott is comfortable in his masculinity. Parrott agreed and joked "I have the balls to wear dresses."

His family and friends watched his videos and they were all pretty progressive blah blah blah

Parrott brings up fetlife and the non-feminist nature of the majority of women being subs and the majority of men being doms, and how meeting "doms" on fetlife could be a cover for predators to go out and brutally abuse women in the name of "kink." (Thunkprovoking on did Parrott use fetlife during this era to meet up with women who would play along in his feminisation dynamic? He speaks somewhere else of living a double life where he crossdressed when going out at night, engaging in hookup culture, and having a number of female partners sissify him).

They discussed how straight men were often put off by Parrott's videos because he confused them with his dresses, makeup, and posing. Parrott says that "As a straight guy, I know what guys are into. And there's a certain way of dressing and posing that they're attracted to." Basically men are dogs and attracted to anything in a dress. He also mentioned skeptically that he had several "straight" guys reach out to him saying that they would bang him in a dress.

Oh, a small round of complaining about the new Rocky Horror film starrying LaVerne Cox. Parrott didn't like that a trans woman was playing Frankenfurter because "Frankenfurter isn't a woman" and he hated that genderfuckery was being taken over by transness.

Hwaaaat, you mean you're annoyed that people are erasing gender non-comformity by calling everything transgender?

Final two minutes, we get into the deep dark depths of Parrott's relationship with porn and diqs, and that he "doesn't know what to do with a diq" and "diqs turn me off." (So can it be inferred that he was a regular consumer of lesbian porn..?)

"I don't do diqs" - Nick Parrott, Jan/Feb 2022

Conclusion: Compared to the recent weeping on the JK Rowling Witch Trials podcast, Parrott was a completely different guest in 2017. He was relaxed, had a good sense of humor, and showed interest in the conversation. It's easy to see how viewers from this era would have perceived him as someone fun to get drinks with and chat informally. The transformation from February to May (when he first came out as genderqueer--also the first time he said he had "mild gender dysphoria" around body hair) is difficult to follow.
How does a guy so comfortable in his masculinity enough to enjoy the subversion of being a man in women's clothes, who finds the woke left foolish and annoying, who can have open discussions about anything, end up transitioning and becoming this recluse who compares JK Rowling to Hitler and barely pumps out one video a year?

I've only been exposed to this nutter two times: Dr K on twitch and the Rowling podcast/interview currently ongoing.

With Dr K 'she' confirmed what I had already thought that trannydom was a cry for attention. She spoke of a friend who 'passed so well' (lie, obviously) that they never got misgendered. This made them miserable cause they didn't feel like their struggle was validated. What struggle? They pass? What's the struggle? They're done, they won; something many other wish they could.

In the Rowling episodes, they honestly come across almost alt-righty. They raise many points of concern about trans people using the whole phobia thing to pass ideas and claims that have no grounding. I've no fucking desire to look into someone who made being a talking tranny into their thing, but so far they seem rather decent, all things considered. At least being able to say "trannies be wack yo", as a tranny, is doing something even women can't: Say one of their own is wack. Nobody clowns on a man faster than another man, but women assume that if any women can do wrong, so too can she, and that's no good.

Don't mistake Contra's relative (to other TRAs) self awareness for actual integrity. People know by now he's like this, he's very self critical, and obviously embarrassed by the more vocal and outlandish sectors of the trans movement (probably in my opinion primarily because it could reflect badly on him). When it comes down to it, he's just as bad as the rest of them when it comes to strawmanning, lying, using fallacious arguments to excuse terrible troon behaviour and justify BS like children transitioning and men in women's sports. I know you say you're not interested in learning much more about Contra but it's also worth mentioning he was unhappy with these podcast eps after they were out and felt he was being "used" to further a transphobic agenda.

Is it possible to go one day on the internet without reading some weird generalisation about female behaviour pulled out of someone's ass?

Lmao he's turning into Null where whenever he says "it's going to be a short stream" it goes on for like 3 fucking hours.

I want to correct myself when I said that Parrott came out as genderqueer in May of 2017. His livestream with Blaire White was in May. His “I Am Genderqueer” YouTube video came out at the end of March, which means that he had been working on it for a few weeks and decided on the identity before March 31.

His “Mangirl” Twitter drama took place around the end of January. So over the month of February, Parrott was somehow influenced by a so called “queer community” he talks about (methinks his ContraPoints official discord, which a lot of queer SJWs at the time claimed as their safe haven) to select the genderqueer image as the host of his YouTube channel, and from there, it wasn’t enough, and he eventually transitioned.

Artist and Twitter terf Nina Paley has made a set of gender wars playing cards and Hontra is the two of spades.

Beautiful. The narcissism would would fit even better on PhilosophyTube, but hilariously enough he's not important enough to get a card.

Looking at those cards, I have to say there are some real gems there. KF seems to have issues with uploading files right now, so here is the link to the cards:

I only knew Nina Paley for some of her animations before now, especially this one:

Looking at it now it's quite similar to how these activists keep upping the ante.

AND HERE IT IS: "THE WITCH TRIALS OF JK ROWLING"

It is almost 2 hours long. I myself cannot be bothered to even click on it … he looks fat in the thumbnail, though.
Comparing JK Rowling to Anita Bryant and deconstructing the sympathetic approach is actually a pretty smart tactic, and one I haven't seen before. Nearly worked on me for a bit.

There's also the requisite amount of self flagellation over falling for the razzle dazzle of "Westboro Baptist Church escapee wants to talk to me about Harry Potter".

Haven't watched the whole thing yet but Contra really ought to go back to doing this sort of video more instead of whatever batshit auteur thing she was doing.

This new video was hard as fuck to get through, like holy shit, Nyk can't retain a viewer to save his fucking life.

He starts the long boring ass video giving a history lesson about protests on LGBTQ rights and especially about a woman called Anita Bryant who was opposed to Gay marriage. He created parallels between the backlash that Anita and JKR received and makes a point of how JKR's is not as bad as what Anita received in the 50s or whatever, decent points I guess. For fuck’s sake, I can't even summarize this shit, it was so boring like half of it was falling out my brain.

A cool thing in the video was how all the quoted text was read by AI generated voices, pretty nice touch, never really see that in most video essays.

The next part was about a podcast JKR went to called The witch trials of JKR, (I have never heard about this podcast) she spends a while epicly debunks common arguments that JKR supporters say, but damn I could not give less of a shit about this part.

I'm not really that invested in this weird TERF war that happening on Twitter to be honest I liked Nyk's older content much more, like his newer content feels like it's more for terminally online retards who are into who spend all day being activists for trans rights and shit. His old content was much more open to wider audiences and much more entertaining. Well, I guess it just wasn't for me.

It's sort of interesting to me what a hivemind trannies are - I've seen the whole Anita Bryant comparisons pop up for the past few weeks now, and all of a sudden Hontra is using it in a video. It's like how the genocide rhetoric just seemed to be adopted over night I expect the Bryant comparisons to continue.

JKR has really got up his nose hasn't she?

It's all true Contra.

We are glad you feel shame but I especially liked the bit in JKR's podcast where you told us all how vicious trans people were to you when you said that you disliked the pronoun announcement malarkey.

You laid it all out, how the shame makes you all aggressive and nasty to everyone including each other, and how you fucked up people can't even tolerate each other. Your community is a community of shame, that's the only common denominator as you explained so clearly, no doubt something you regret hence this latest slurring drunk rant.

Please take the next step in that thought process Contra, and think about not doing the shameful stuff. Then you won't have to be agressive and vicious either.

You have run out of road. It's imploding.

NEW VIDEO IS UP!
AND HERE IT IS: "THE WITCH TRIALS OF JK ROWLING"
The video begins with talking about Anita Bryant, an anti-gay activist of the 1970s who lost her career. It then talks about a podcast ContraPoints was interviewed for, The Witch Trials of J.K. Rowling, hosted by Megan Phelps-Roper, a former Westboro Baptist Church member.

ContraPoints discusses whether JKR is transphobic and concludes that those who think she is not do not believe transphobia exists at all because they do not believe transgenders exist, not in the capacity transgenders themselves assert they are.

After that, ContraPoints discusses the efficacy of debate as an activist tactic, concludes that it is scarcely useful, discusses how activist movements have historically achieved their goals by being threatening and disruptive, and points out how anti-trans movement likewise employs violent rhetoric on social media.

The video ends with speculations on what drives women to participate in the anti-trans movement, especially as ContraPoints sees it as having evolved from one started by trans-exclusionary lesbian feminists into a right-wing one; comparisons of Posie Parker to Phyllis Schlafly and ample quoting of Andrea Dworkin included. The conclusion is that anti-trans women displace their anger and resentment at men in their lives onto transgenders.

he looks fat in the thumbnail, though.
CP does look fatter, but that is less noticeable than his face. It does not look fat as much as puffy. His lips especially look stung by bees. Odd. I suppose this is the outcome of his plastic surgery — or weeks of drinking.

I liked Nyk's older content much more, like his newer content feels like it's more for terminally online retards
His content has always been for terminally online retards. Every video is either explicitly about the hottest drama of the year or of interest primarily to those who socialise on Twitter more than off it.

Every political group picks up on fresh talking points it finds effective, and soon everybody repeats the same lines. Transes are just online 24/7, so new takes spread among them quicker than average.

AKA: saying the quiet part loud. We can't actually win in a fair fight of Our Ideology vs Theirs, so we need to fight dirty.

Contra has a real chip on his shoulder when it comes to debates. It seems he never recovered from his loss to Blaire White in 2017, which makes his choice to appear on Rowling's podcast all the more bemusing.

Like many leftists, Contra is only persuasive when he can speak uninterrupted with a large amount of production value and (especially in Contra's case) strawman characters of his opponents.

In at least two that I can recall, he's done similar storylines about how an Obvious Bigot outsmarts a Purehearted Activist in a public debate, and the injustice of it all. He portrays the Activist as flawed in other ways, and occasionally lets the Bigot make a good point, but don't mistake that for actual nuance in his position.

He didn't do that storyline in this video, because even he realises it's played out by now.

And it's funny to see Contra bringing up the Save Our Children coalition, given that Ash Hardell recently discussed the same topic, stole Contra's format, and beat him to the punch by three days.
