Because that's what this premade tiermaker looks like. Fuckface just went to the site with 0 prep and started to beg stream.

Some evil bullytrolls might ask "why don't you make you own tier list?" But they would be MAHRANNS!!! Phil does not have time to set that up before the stream, and it is probably ILLIGAL! to do so anyway.

I believe the story is heavily embellished to fit in with the underdog/success story narrative. Phil has massive main character syndrome (narcissism I guess) and he loves monologuing and giving cinematic speeches about himself. I believe the back injury to be one.

Some of my fave DSP moments are when he’s sitting in the low double figures who hours, and the bacon sweat starts pouring.

And then we get the increasingly desperate begments and blackmailing the dents. “If support is THIS low, we might just have to play something else, right? *SNORT*”

One of these days Phil is going to go full pigroach, put the controller down, and outright refuse to play unless he gets at least 50$ in his little tip jar.

Arms crossed and all.

And only when the “tier one tipsgoal” have been reached, will he begrudgingly pick up the controller and resume gameplay, while shaming his dents for the rest of the stream, complaining about “lack of support” and how he works his ass for them, and they need to be “more pahsitive”.

Can't wait. When he did that shit during the REmake games over bosses he was too stupid to fight it was fucking amazing. Him just threatening wage quits is getting tiresome now.

At the same time the sidescrollers interview and aftermath may have convinced some of the dudes dropping nickles and dimes to not donate anymore. While in the other hand it has emboldened the few that prop him up with big chunks of change to prop him up further by donating more.
