I would qualify this with "delusional mentally ill people" or "mentally ill people in denial" or the thing I suspect for a lot of trannys; "degenerate people who don't want you to question their degeneracy". This was actually a thing I always wondered about when I was still supportive of them. If they have brains of the opposite sex and this causes them immense pain because their body doesn't fit them, then what is it if not a mental illness? Why would they reject this categorization? It causes them pain and its a mental thing, so a mental illness it is! That of course doesn't automatically mean one is crazy, so why would they possibly have a problem with it?

The answer is of course that if something is a mental illness so dire there will be intense research to try and find ways to cure it and there will be criteria to diagnose you, both things they don't want. They want to controll the narrative and everyone bending to their will and insane surgeries noone would approve of for a mentally ill person.
