I seen this thread many times but stayed away because I would get MATI. But I must ask- is Luna’s head going to continue grow as she does? If so, how would normal people and actual doctors… handle this? Would they have a brace or something to support her head?

I clarify “normal people” because I know they refuse any and all decent medical advice, and I am genuinely wondering in the case of normal people. Of course, most normal people wouldn’t have this happen to begin with.

Luna’s head has been expanding from day one and will never stop till she dies. She has giant cysts where her brain matter used to be that are continuously filling up with cerebral fluid. Compare photos from 2 years ago to now and you’ll see how much it’s grown.

The brain damage luna has sustained has appeared to stop her growth. She has no neck/core strength so there isn’t a brace that could safely hold her head up.

If this was a case of “normal” balloon head (sorry can’t spell), doctors would place a shunt in an infant and they would live a normal life.

Most just have hydrocephalus so they can shunt and reduce the size of skull then do surgery to fix it. Luna's disorder is different its multiple cysts growing and there is no way to drain them all so its impossible to stop the growth of her skull. Thank modern medicine for the state shes in most children would be dead before they get close to Luna's age.

Luna's lack of support is moreso that her brain her dead so her body just does not know what to do. It never learnt to support its head and now there's not enough left to learn.

That 7th video struck me out of all of them as unnecessarily cruel, it seemed like the therapist was mocking her.

Is Luna's head getting flatter? There's a few videos that HORRIFIED me, and it looked so much flatter.

I already consider her totally bonkers, but who knows... It's hard to predict what her new coping mechanism will be. Probably an even deeper dive into the woo, more isolation, etc. I just hope Atlas can escape all of this relatively unscathed.
