I would really recommend that you do. This is not new and it has only gotten worse, and you have clearly only just caught onto this thing. The autists among us that actually follow his stream a bit more closely have been talking about this for a while now.

Asking questions is never a bad thing but as you can see your...let's say lenient take on Phil using big boy words have caught a fair bit of FLAK. Most of it I would guess is more about this is a topic that isn't really new and for anybody having actually watched Phils streams it can seem quite baffeling that somebody can even be in doubt about Phil misusing words and clearly having no fucking clue about what they actually mean.

So you insisting on that it probably only is him "mixing stuff up", can seem a bit odd.
He uses mid level vocabulary words like a shotgun uses buckshot. He knows around about the area of what he wants to say, loads up a word that he's heard used within contextual range, then shoots it out without aiming hoping to inspire the confidence in people that he's a valedictorian 100+ IQ smarty smart gamer guru who would set the gaming journo world on fire if they'd just let him accidentally say nigger or retarded in a Kotaku article.

His overenunciation of the letter 't' is legitimately concerning.
It's gotten so absurd that he did it with a word that had no 't' in it. It had a 'd' or 'dd' (eg fodder) and he pronounced it with the overenunciated 't' sound.

I forget what it was, wish I clipped it but it was during one of KF's down times.

He said 'consiTer' instead of 'consider' back in February. Maybe that?

I've known about his DSP-isms since I first saw him from his initial Heavy Rain playthrough back around the time he started. I don't believe him getting words wrong and doubling down on it is new. The topic that I question is whether we should be concerned about normal mixes and mishaps, which are constant in daily interactions.

If anything, we're all saying his ego and laziness gets in the way of being respectable, because he will say words wrong, as if he didn't look into what they meant and only looked into the Google similar section.

For example, a good one I found was him using fortuitous instead of fortunate. Fortunate is positive, fortuitous is neutral. Is it a big deal? Not really. Is it caused by him trying to use a big word and then failing? Yes.

But the big question is: what is the result of this mistake? Well, it seems people just get more annoyed, which reduces how positively people can view him, and his ego gets in the way of something like a humble laugh or correction.

Calling his wife mom however, that one peaks my interest. It is a Freudian slip, like when a kid calls their teacher mom. We laugh at it because female teachers have to act like a second mom during the day and in English we have a m for Mrs/Ms and m for mom.

But in the case of Phil, seeing a wife as a mother means his anima directed him to find a wife close to the mother archetype in his mind, and since he's possessed by his anima, THAT can be a concern. It means she's something he relies on but also fears at the same time. It means that he's a bit trapped in the Eve stage, which is where a man will picture the mother archetype in their head as a provider of nourishment and an object of desire.

In other words, how people will reveal that their wife is the one taking care of them and they rely on them for happiness. It's common in hopeless romantics and man-children. But, it's a different thing if they picture their wife as the mother of their kids, because calling them ma or mom in that way is more like mentally saying "this is the person who birthed my kids".

Maaaaaaaybe he treats the cat as a child and sees her as a cat mom, but that's a low chance and isn't really in our subconscious, it's more of a habitual and cultural thing that can dwell there if done over many years.

A good way to look at all of this is to think of how a song lyric can be said wrong.

Is it done on purpose as a joke? Well, that's just to be silly.

Is it said wrong because it was heard wrong or obscured by the music? Well that's common.

Is it said wrong because the mouth can't move properly? Well, that's motor function issues.

Is it wrong because someone didn't bother to look it up and was too arrogant to fix it after being corrected? Well, that's ego.

Is it said wrong because the brain jumbled the word up? That's a bit more concerning, because it's a mental issue.

Was it known before and now forgotten? That's a memory problem.

I try to look at all the possibilities, and I'm sure I missed some. To say it again, a lot of it is ego. Ego and laziness.

First Wings home and family. Now Boogies home and refrigerator.

The audacity of Keem to do buisness in such a way, on Phil's day off no less. Its deplorable. How could they allow this vile man and his cronnies into their homes with a camera? Did keem even call beforehand? Don't they know he's a snake that doesn't care about either of them?

Got make Phil seethe in some sorta way that two fat fucks let keem just wander around their homes. Phil can't even film his own coffee maker without being called out or heavily ridiculed. An obese man feels less shame in opening up his fridge on camera than phil does showing his fucking coffee maker.

Keem probably had the respect to CALL THEM WHEN THEY WERENT STREAMING MEANINGFUL KHANTENT. Keem is just pure evil and just not a trustworthy dood.

I don't really agree with that. Does mixups like happens to most people from time to time? Sure no biggie.

But this is a man that allegedly was valedictorian, graduated from college, talks for a living and in his own mind is well spoken an very intelligent.

I'm not a super smart pretend dog that have a lot of college level people in my social circle, but mixups like this isn't something I see that often and when they do we clown hard on the person that does it.

So I really have a hard time seeing where you are comming from with this whole "that is normal".

I really don't know what you are aiming at with the "it's a big deal".

When we clown on Phil with this, it's more to point out that Phil isn't quite as smart as he pretends and again this is a valedictorian that went to college that at this point makes these mistakes almost every stream and more often than not several times a stream.

Again this really goes far beyond simple normal "mixups". Does it goes beyond Phil being a midwit with allusions of grabdeur? Probably not, but it's still fun to point out as yet another tentpole of Phils lolcowness.

Phil will make ego related mistakes every stream because he's egotistical.

He will make normal human level mixups because he's human and is talking while multitasking or fell for a social contagion.

These are two different sources of word mistakes. I'm trying my best to provide examples, clarification, and specification so that this is understandable. Are they helping or not helping?

Either way, I'm not telling people to stop making fun of his DSP-isms. I love them and want more examples to enjoy. I love it when people point out my own -isms, because it's an entertaining moment for self reflection.

To anyone still confused, we all have every reason and ability and opportunity to point out his DSP-isms. But, we should not mistake the ego caused ones (like him making fun of someone else's grammar when he's inept) with a common or understandable mixup.

These are all different topics, so we need to keep them as such instead of mixing them together as one and accidentally claiming something like saying "anyways" is the same as Phil bragging about being a smart highschooler and then making fun of the grammar of ESL people.

I find it funny though that I tried to make sure these things are separate by splitting them into different paragraphs and being precise with my wording, yet they got jumbled up in the minds of others anyway. Bugged commenting mechanics on my part, I guess.

Phil consistently uses the phrase "Qualifying Question" when he means "Loaded Question"

"What it means is, you've said certain things in your question that make factual assumptions that aren't necessarily factually true."

Damnit man… Phil is such a toxic piece of shit.

Right after the “qualifying question” somebody who lost a lot of weight writes in to correct Phil about what a “balanced diet” is.

Instead of saying something like: “Well, congrats on your weight loss, that’s awesome! We may not agree but way to go!” Phil of course makes fun of their misspelling “nutritionist/dietician”.

Its so fucking cringe and such a MAHTURE tactic that a middle schooler would be embarrassed

Thats because he make use of every occasion to talk down to people. That is what makes him happy.
Like its amazing how this fucker peaked in 8th grade. Between the singing, and the random resting on the most petty of laurels, like talking fast or once again, the fucking singing. Not to mention he just has a middle school concept of everything. Sex, humor, maturity. He like gave up at the age of 12, and somehow never had to grow up.
How did Derich get his hands on proof that Phil killed T?
I like to think in one of his begging emails, during his "I need money because I was laid off from a helicopter factory..." spiel. He just admitted to killing T, and his parents caught it.

His overenunciation of the letter 't' is legitimately concerning. How do you even call this behaviour? I'm appalled and stumped. It creeps me out.
In yesterday's podcast, he overenunciated the 't' in water and hearing it was like getting pricked in the eardrums by a needle. Literally 2 minutes later he started talking about waterbeds and guess what. He was saying the word water perfectly normally.
What the fuck is your problem dude? Why are you like this?

No wonder he's a balding greasy haired fuck.

Hey Phil, let me clue you in whether you are 25% Italian or 100% Italian: Your hair is the way it is because you are a dirty cunt.

Imagine the smell
I remember one time he bragged about his hair being oily, while recreating himself in some video game.
