To everyone saying “I still don’t think that Pat would swat himself”, just take a second to think about Patrick.

He is an alcoholic narcissistic buffoon who would look you in the eye and say “you lie” if you said that grass was green.

He’s been under a court order for years to pay Quasi, and when people laugh about it on twitter, he says that he doesn’t owe Quasi anything. He’s already proven that he’s willing to damage his own property. Is it that much of a logical jump to think that he wouldn’t also waste police time? If he didn’t call in the swatting attempt, we would have to believe that some random guy on the internet stole Pat’s identity. Convincingly forged state documents. If this alleged stalker is this vindictive, why not just pay one of the many druggies in Minnesota to torch Pat’s house while he sleeps?

I think we’re talking in the realms of a 50/50 chance that he has done at least some of the swatting. I want to see the evidence and I pray to God some special investigation into this matter has been opened, but it is not anywhere outside of the realm of possibility for me that he’s the swatter. 50/50 is by no means a compelling measure, but that is a couple of magnitudes higher than anyone should ever be suspected of being their own mass swatter.
