But I never understood people listening to his live stream for hours on end. He was never *that* entertaining -- and he was overly fond of the sound of his own voice.

Nick and Lady R did join the server, but seem not to have posted really that much. Do not expect much quantity of content from Nose or Kayla from this source.

Circling back to this, what's going on with the full logs? It seems like Rekieta will be partying in Philly with Masterson for some time and making very little if any content, so now would be a convenient time for the thread to dig into it.

There were troubling things about Nick as far back as 2018. He was making mistakes about the law and misrepresenting his legal experience for example. There was also Nick promoting Drex. But there was nothing funny about it and nothing cow-worthy. It was mostly boring stuff. When the whole thing around Vic started, political opinions had become such that you couldn't go after Nick without being considered an SJW and part of the enemy. Nick got by for a long time for the same reasons many bad people associated with Gamergate did. Because supporting him became about the political cause he was associated with rather than what he was doing.

Any site that works by consensus is going to tend to get things wrong for a while due to popular opinion going one way or the other. Its possible to go against the consensus, but you have to make the case and move on rather than bitching about it day after day. You have to play a long game sometimes. But if they are really a cow, they will eventually do something to show it. They can't help themselves.

I always found it weird how he'd downplay the way he hyped the Vic lawsuit after it was dismissed in 2019. He'd say "I never said it was going to be a sure thing", which was technically true, but no one who thinks that is spending hours calling all the submissions from his team solid gold (except when they'd occasionally miss something Nick wanted in there) and all the submissions from his opponents as abject garbage. That was the point I realized that Nick has no special insight on the law and if he says some legal result is going to happen, then it won't (or vice versa), which has proven true on everything except Rittenhouse IIRC.
