it's as if creative liberty given to the wrong people with no means of finding out what they've done in the past ends up churning out bad and misguiding content
like fuck even pre-SU i remember people finding out that she'd been drawing creepy shit when she storyboarded on adventure time, like finn and marceline being 'intimate' in sketches n shit

This isn't news to me at all. I always... just knew this was pushing something blatant. I just knew.

All I can say is this... why can't more kids just watch the shit on Adult Swim, instead? You know, stuff that actually CHALLENGES them, if they must watch cartoons at all?

Even with this LGBTQ propaganda in place, nothing about this show is all that challenging, nor could ever hope to be, in my opinion...

I remember when cartoons beat the shit out of each other and didn't try to sexualize children.

...Or, we could make more cartoons like that from now on. That would be nice, instead of pushing BS kids need nor want don't forced on them, like SJWs continue to think is for the greater good. Wishful thinking, I know.

Remember when cartoons were slightly less autistic?

What? Never? Okay...

I do, and I grew up in a time when the Dark Age of Cartoons was a thing.

Back then the "message" cartoons were more obvious so you'd usually just go about making fun of them, and making them more enjoyable than they have any right to be.

If you can keep a straight face through the Captain Planet AIDS awareness episode or the episode where Captain Planet fights Hitler, you're more mature than I and I question why the fuck you're on this forum.

Ah, Captain Planet. The prototype SJW show before SJW's were even a thing.

At least that show was so bad it was hilarious. I've never really had an interest in seeing Steven Universe. I now have even less interest than I did.

I can think of no better way to make one completely disinterested in a show than saying Tumblr likes it.

Shit she was just saying what everyone already knew all along. Not really anything new.

Of course Tumblr likes it. Tumblr SU fans have the mental capacity of 4 year olds at best. Bright colors, lots of movement, and simple toddler-level music and they're hooked.

That episode of Captain Planet with Hitler was comedy gold. I remember laughing my ass off until my grandma beat the shit out of me.

This would have surprised me a lot less before I read this thread on SoSe by goon troon Shmorky's ex, which goes on a bit about his friendship with Rebecca Sugar and suggests the show was at least in part tranny propaganda.

Some relevant quotes.

Of course his favorite cartoon was Stephen Universe because it was so *-*-*progressive*-*-* and he was close friends with Rebecca Sugar (Most likely when she was still doing Ed, Edd, and Eddie hentai).

She would send Shmorky gifts of hand drawn sketches of Stephen Universe characters. Shmorky in general got sent a lot of gifts from people, congratulating him on how brave he was for being genderqueer and all that happy horseshit. I was going to get to meet her, but we never got around to it. Shmorky actually went to high school with her husband and met her through him. And yes, it is true that she drew hentai of Cartoon Network characters when she was younger. She echoed a lot of the sentiments Shmorky had about making genderqueer/LGBT friendly kids programming and they had always wanted to collaborate on a show.

Also from this post:

They're all some variety of fetishist, so where Tumblr sees innocent portrayal of PoC Queer Youth or whatever the fuck I see an animator getting turned on by animating a fat brown cross-dressing child:

[broken YT link]

For the record, the writer and animator of this episode, who is not Rebecca Sugar, ALSO drew Ed Edd n' Eddy porn except it was violent bloody porn of Eddy raping Double D. So yes, an artist who jills off to fanfiction-like situations of literal child rape is drawing the LGBTPFFRTMRQYZ-positive children's cartoons your kids are growing up on.

And back to Shmorky's ex.

I look at Steven Universe and can see fetish after fetish: Femdom, Giantess Domination, Lesbianism, Sissification, and of course all matter of gender-bending. Have you ever seen the fusion sequences? The characters do very overtly erotic dances and then fuse with each other. It's a very bizarrely sexual kids show. Rebecca Sugar shares the same frame of mind as Shmorky and his other troon friends. It's all a cult like mentality centered around deviance, it seems. There was a very dark quality to all those people. I used to be a member of the Church of Scientology and I had more freedom of speech there than I had with Shmorky and his friends. I would say something and his friends would interpret it as !!TRANSMYSOGINISTIC!! and would run and fucking report me to Shmorky like he was my handler. Then I would proceed to get screamed at by Shmorky and just wind up blocking the twinks because I wanted no part of it.

watching it challenges me mentally and i like to feel mentally challenged

I look at these blatant propaganda cartoons like Captain Planet and Steven Universe like this: If a kid has been permanently influenced by, and later in life get's their ideas and world views from reflecting back on cartoons, then they were very stupid to begin with.

I don't think that is necessarily the case. The effect would be very unconscious but there are similar effects in just the way children are raised that can be significant to them later in life and would require an extremely large effort to change

Most young kids don't give a shit about the "progressive" messaging. They're there for the explosions and fighting and adventures. "Message" is lost on little kids who misinterpret them in the funniest fucking way possible.

I can't speak for anyone else, but when I was little, Captain Planet was watched because there was fuck all else on in its time slot. Even kids at the time noticed how stupid and heavy-handed it was, and made fun of it because of it. I remember, when I was like 12, a friend of mine pointed out to me that every time you see the USSR in the show, it's portrayed as some idyllic forest zone and the USA tends to be portrayed as the world's largest slum. We found it fucking hilarious.

Why can't cartoons be cool like they used to be? Like a pair of talking cats flying a plane together. Or mutated humanoid sharks that like to fight.

Now it's all about underage dicks and gross fag stuff.
The only good cartoons that don't carry a gay agenda are Christian, Russian, or made in an Asian country. If it isn't any of those, then it's just vintage.

The only episode of Captain Planet I can remember is the overpopulation episode. I thought it was a weird episode even as a kid. I'm not even sure what the message was supposed to be and I think the overpopulated race was literally ratpeople.

But anyway, yeah, Steven Universe is definitely fetish fuel and I guarantee there is some nasty porn drawn by the actual animators of it. They've also recently started airing commercials with real kid's heads replacing Steven's singing "all I want see is you turn into a giant woman" making it even creepier.

....Are they fucking ripping off Royco Cup of Soup Ads now?
