NEW YORK — April 24, 2023 — FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways. We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.

Mr. Carlson’s last program was Friday April 21st. Fox News Tonight will air live at 8 PM/ET starting this evening as an interim show helmed by rotating FOX News personalities until a new host is named.

FOX News Media operates the FOX News Channel (FNC), FOX Business Network (FBN), FOX News Digital, FOX News Audio, FOX News Books, the direct-to-consumer streaming services FOX Nation and FOX News International and the free ad-supported television service FOX Weather. Currently the number one network in all of cable, FNC has also been the most watched television news channel for more than 21 consecutive years, while FBN ranks among the top business channels on cable. Owned by Fox Corporation, FOX News Media reaches nearly 200 million people each month.

I know you're black but stop acting like a stupid nigger. They literally ran a story praising parents who trooned out their baby before it could even speak. Fuck off.
You're acting like I WATCH/READ Fox News. They could post a story about Hillary conspiring to take over the moon for all I care. I'm sorry you're losing your fair and balanced entertainment.

He has the absolute shittiest foreign policy takes EVER. Which is weird cause his dad was an ambassador (albeit a very cushy position). He actually thinks isolationism is a viable option in this day and age. But he had some good takes on domestic issues and, most importantly, cultural issues no one was talking about.
Flaws like this are what make a character so interesting and unique tbh.

It's a shame he's out, now the trannies don't have a charismatic foil and they'll rape all the kids

Are we expecting a new happy (that means gay) family?

Please, no. If I have to live through another Trump vs Biden election I'm going to lose my mind. Why is it so hard for there to be a normal Republican who can run for President? Are we that far gone?
Trump is the best man for what needs to be done. He has an axe to grind and knows who dug the knives in his back, and if he gets in he doesn't have to worry about reelection, and doesn't have to worry about the same fuckwits impeding him. He would be in a position to make some actual change. DeSantis is too weak, too inexperienced, and too much a part of the system that needs to be broken.

Because you're acting like you know what the fuck you're talking about, but now admit you don't. I'm sorry you're a retarded liberal.

Shapiro is an intriguing replacement, but I question his mainstream appeal. If I'm remembering correctly, he hosted a one hour special during the 2020 election season and nothing ever came from it. I assume it was a pilot for a weekly show akin to Levin's on Saturday night, but again, the idea seemed to be dropped pretty quickly. You would also have to wonder what would become of DW if he was given the gig.

Fox News has always gone in the direction that the money flows. I wouldn't be surprised if it came out most of them weren't even conservatives and just accepting the money to say what's on the Teleprompter.
Case in point: being neutral towards Trump during his presidency. You mentioned Maury, do you know if the Fox News branch is separate from their Fox entertainment branch?

I'd like to petition @Null to update the Featured banner: Tucker isn't just the highest rated host on Fox, he's the highest rated programming in the entire history of cable news.

Fox News Channel host Tucker Carlson closed out television’s second quarter with one for the record books: his Tucker Carlson Tonight finished the quarter as the highest-rated program in all of cable news for the first time since the show’s launch, delivering an average total audience of 4.331 million viewers. In the process, Carlson broke a record held by his colleague, Sean Hannity, for the highest-rated quarter of any cable news program—ever.

It was a solid quarter for the network, which finished in first place across all of cable television for the first time in the network’s history, beating out all basic cable networks among total viewers and viewers 25-54, the demographic group most valued by national advertisers.

Article is from 2020, but I think he was still pulling those numbers even now. This isn't just a massive blow for Fox, it's arguably a turning point for big-name cable news shows everywhere.

Don Lemon just got fired too.
cnn wanted to fire him but due to his gayness would have been a pr nightmare. tucker's firing as the cover cnn need to get rid of don lamon without any real notice.
Cable in general is dying. With streaming, they're cannibalizing themselves with exclusivity deals to where the cost would be the same as cable back then.
doesn't tucker own the daily caller (not daily wire). why not use that website as his new show platform?

Fox News just killed their network, makes very little sense business wise to settle millions of dollars in court then turn around and fire your top rated show and host It's like they want the network to fail. I'm thinking part of the settlement included firing Tucker.
Time to put out more trash sitcoms then.
