NEW YORK — April 24, 2023 — FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways. We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.

Mr. Carlson’s last program was Friday April 21st. Fox News Tonight will air live at 8 PM/ET starting this evening as an interim show helmed by rotating FOX News personalities until a new host is named.

FOX News Media operates the FOX News Channel (FNC), FOX Business Network (FBN), FOX News Digital, FOX News Audio, FOX News Books, the direct-to-consumer streaming services FOX Nation and FOX News International and the free ad-supported television service FOX Weather. But yes, if the message comes down to focus on lying to undermine the election results to benefit Trump, for example, even if he personally fucking hates Trump and knows it’s all horse shit, he’s going to say it convincingly, take the audience with him, and be paid very well.

Same with climate denial, or conflicts, or tax policy, or any other expensive issue that shady oligarchs want to shift opinion on.

And I guess it’s natural to have suspicions or demand recounts sometimes. Both sides have the right to do that.

However, facts on the ground just now are that Tucker was the spearhead in a sustained campaign on the most watched cable show in the country, night after night telling lurid conspiracy theories, to the point that people were showing up at counts with guns drawn.
And it was all lies. And admitted as such.

That’s a bit different.

I don't watch cable news.. so this isn't going to change anything for me.

Once again though, the left showing that they could get anyone they don't like silenced. Even from a conservative friendly org. What's this like the 2nd or 3rd time/person at FN alone? Dems and other media have been gunning for him for a while. Prog efforts to intimidate his advertisers has been ongoing to little effect. Now suddenly this. Anyone else find it convenient that the person given the jan 6th tapes, causing the rest of the media and dem politicians to freak the fuck out, gets randomly targeted like this a month or so later?

Tucker was the main draw of Fox and had the only segment I would on occasion watch, especially as he's become more blackpilled and glownigger-aware over the past few years. My guess is that part of the Dominion settlement stipulated Tucker's removal from the network, probably because everything that was said about Dominion was correct and the Fedfags are still back there pulling the strings, but Fox's lawyers either believe they don't have a leg to stand on in court or, and possibly more likely, someone out there has some serious dirt on Fox executives and if they don't play ball they get fucked with the bat. A dark day for mainstream news, but network television is a fossil and I don't see it lasting much more than another decade anyways. Tucker himself almost certainly has "fuck you" money and could easily get a massive following by starting a Fox-unaffiliated, Tucker-centric program somewhere on the Internet.

Yup, that's what I was thinking as well. Which is ridiculous that it was agreed to, given the amount in the settlement. (which is insane) Why not fight it out at that point? Was he even a pusher of the Dominion allegations?
